The apartment Colosseum View 2, air conditioning, quite (double windows) luminous, free internet access+cell phone, TV, CD, can accommodate up to 5 people-ideal also for a large group if rented with next door apartment Coliseum View 1- has 2 big, comfortable bedrooms: 1 with American king size bed that can be separated in 2 large single beds, 1 with queen/king size bed, 1 extra single bed, 2 bathrooms with shower, travertine tiles, sink, WC, equipped kitchen, living/dinning area, . Is located in the second floor of a 18th Century building in the very heard of ancient Rome, at walking distance of Coliseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain and very close to metro station “Colosseo”. It has been completely remodelled, elegantly furnished and personally decorated by the owner with tromp l’oeil paintings. Looking out of the windows you will have a view of the Coliseum to your left and to the right the obelisk of San Giovanni and the Basilica of St: Antonio da Padova.

All the most important cultural sites are at walking distance, famous Basilica of San Clemente just in front of the apartment, Coliseum, Piazza Venezia, Campo dei fiori. Bus 117 stop below the apartment to reach in few minutes Spanish Steps. Metro Colosseum very close to reach San Peter and Vatican city. Restaurants (restaurants in this area are cheaper that other tourist part of Rome, excellent balance between quality and cost), bars,'open air' cafe, supermarkets, morning 'open air' market with fresh vegetable and fruits, Bank, ATM, shopping, monuments, churches, historical sites, rental bike, Gelato, Pizza, Hospital of San Giovanni. The owner has attended courses of History of Roman Art and she will share her knowledge with you at your arrival. At check in she will illustrate all the most important historical sites, monuments as well as a list of restaurants where Romans go, no touristic places, shops or any special event, exhibition, concert that is on while you will be in Rome.

  • The 2 bedrooms are large, quite, luminous . Double windows have been installed to eliminate any minimum noise to guarantee a good night's sleep. One bedroom has a king size bed (78x78 inches, 2x2 meters) which can also be separated in 2 big twin beds as well as a chair that folds out to a bed. The other bedroom has a queen/king size bed, with a headboard made of an antique mirror, giving a touch of baroque to the room. AC in booth bedroom, each one with his own remote control. TV, big wardrobe.
