House, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

Pine Hill House is a beautiful 1921 Craftsman home, located right near the center of town. Spacious, yet still cozy, it has been recently renovated, but still has plenty of the original touches that make it a classic. From here, it is only about a 15 minute walk to downtown Port Angeles, the Victoria ferry, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and the marina.

Downstairs is a living room with a wood burning stove, a large dining room with seating for 10, a full kitchen with everything you'll need to prepare and serve fantastic meals, a small bathroom with shower, and a TV/entertainment room with a DVD player and surround sound (this room can also be set up with an aerobed and used as a bedroom for anyone who has trouble with stairs). In the fenced back yard you can barbecue or grab a book from the bookshelf and just relax. Pick fresh organic herbs from the garden year-round, and you may even get fresh pears, berries, cherries, or apricots in season.

Upstairs are three spacious bedrooms and a newly renovated bathroom with a large claw-foot tub and separate shower. The north bedroom has a queen-sized bed and peek-a-boo views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Victoria. The middle bedroom has one queen-sized bed and one full-sized bed, with a TV and DVD player. The south bedroom has a queen-sized bed, fold out full futon, and spectacular views of Hurricane Ridge.

There is easy access to Hwy 101 from the neighborhood which will take you to Lake Crescent, Sol Duc falls and hot springs, ocean beaches, Forks, and the Hoh Rainforest. It's also a short drive to Hurricane Ridge and the Olympic National Park where you can get amazing views of the Olympic mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Pine Hill House is a 1921 Craftsman style house that was our home for eight years. When it became necessary to move for a new job, we decided we loved the house too much to sell, so we’ve made it a vacation rental to share with others and allow us to still visit it ourselves.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

I stayed here for 8 nights with my boyfriend and two adult sons. The home was very welcoming and spacious. It was very close to town and all of the things we needed-groceries, restaurants and ferry access. It was also a great place to start out for each of our adventures-Hurricane Ridge, Obstruction Point, Rialto Beach, Hoh Rainforest, Sol Duc and Merrymare Falls, and our hike up Mount Storm King.
We also were able to easily reach local wineries and lavender farms.
The home was well stocked with all wee needed in the kitchen. It was also nice to find other basics that are not always provided-dish soap, hand soap, kleenex, tp, etc.
If we ever return to Port Angeles we will definitely check on the availability of this home

The four of us, my husband, brother, sister and I, used this house as our base while exploring the Olympic National Park. The house was clean, quaint and very well equiped. The neighborhood was very quiet and the town provided ample places for eating. Loved the heated bathroom floor! We enjoyed watching TV in the cozy den after active days of exploring and hiking. The house was older, but very nicely renovated. It was just as was shown in the listing- no surprises! Owner provided acurate and easy to follow directions.

WONDERFUL HOUSE

Pine Hill House was a wonderful place to stay for our short trip to Port Angeles for the Coast Guard Change of Command. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 children, 11& 7.
It was close to the docks and close to lots of activities. We rode up to Hurricane Ridge where the views were spectacular and it snowed on us ( being from the AL / MS gulf coast that was so exciting)

The house was stocked with everything we needed and was so comfortable and spacious!! Our Grandchildren loved playing the games and puzzles. The views of the mountains and waterfront were beautiful from the house.
The owners were very accommodating and we certainly will be back.

My two teen sons and I enjoyed our stay at Pine Hill House. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We appreciated having our own bedrooms upstairs and the kitchen area is very inviting. There are multiple living areas with comfy couches.
