Our 3 bedroom air conditioned summer cottage is situated on Lake Champlain in Westport, NY, looking out across the lake at the Green Mountains in Vermont. It is a spot for unwinding and enjoying the water and the woods and the mountains
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, and view of the lake.
The second bedroom with a view of the lake, has 2 twin beds, & a half bath. (toilet and sink)
The third bedroom is best for children and has 2 twin beds a and a partial view of the lake.
The main bath has a large vanity, 2 cabinets, toilet and a tub and shower.
We provide 1 set of bed linens for each person and a set of towels. Please bring Beach Towels and/or any additional linens.
The living room/dining room with large picture window and 2 sky lights, has a stone fireplace. A sideboard w/ board games for the winding down time. Good collection of books in the little hallway between bedrooms.
The galley type kitchen has ample cabinets, full refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, toaster oven pots & pans and dishes, glasses and a good size pantry next to the broom closet. There is a washer and dryer in an enclosed area on the porch outside the kitchen.
We have a beautiful patio overlooking the lake with table and gas grill.
The grass lawn is shaded by a picture perfect Maple Tree with a hammock between it and a large birch. Lawn chairs provided where you can lounge and enjoy the variety of water foul and jumping fish. (Watch the daily flight of the Heron)
The four foot stone wall has large steps with railing which leads down to100' of private sandy beach with gradual dropoff. swim float, row boat and canoe are available for your pleasure and for fishing
About a mile walk/drive to village for breakfast, ice cream, lunch, or dinner. The town of Westport is one of the most charming towns in the area with a park, beach and boat launch. Weekly entertainment for whole family.
Depot Theatre has live professional plays all summer. Golf in town. The Marina will rent most water equipment and has good food. Lots of hiking in the area and many attractions nearby.
It is a short drive to Essex ferry to Vermont, or drive south to the New Champlain Bridge at Crown Point.
We keep a book of information updated about the surroundings. We also have hiking books that are helpful.

We require a $500.00 security depost which will be refunded 30 days after departure minus cleaning fees. The cleaning fee depends upon the condition of the house. Most visitors leave it very tidy and the fee is $65.00.
We require a $500.00 deposit to hold the reservation. Full payment is 60 days prior to arrival.
We do not rent for partial weeks. Only from Saturday to Saturday.
