The flat 90 m2 consists of 4-rooms plus bathroom; - 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with one single bed & a mattress - 1 bathroom complete, 1 nice kitchen fully equipped - 1 nice big sunny living room with TV, central heating, Wi-Fi internet access - 1 balcony with a view on Las Ramblas The apartment is on the 7th floor in the city centre on Las Ramblas at 5 minutes walk to the Esplanada and the Mediterranean sea. It is in a secure modern city building with a new lift. There is a public parking near-by. There is also a bus stop very near going to all the different parts of the city. The tranvia is 3 minutes away on foot, with trams going to all the main beaches of the region; San Juan, La Albufera, El Cabo, Campello, Villajoyosa y Benidorm at 30 minutes. Close to the apartment you will find many supermarkets, shops, bakeries, pharmacies, banks & of course many friendly bars & restaurants.

The feast of Moros y Christianos in Villajoyosa & Alcoy.

Daggelfeldt, 22 to 29 Nov 2008 We very much enjoyed our stay in Alicante and visited most of the highlights. We found people extremely friendly and child interested. The archaeology museum was a marvel and my husband went there twice! Ella preferred the museum of the Fougeres across the street. Your apartment is ideally situated for a city-family like us and the proximity to the central market was perfect for the big breakfast we had. We ate all other meals at restaurants and enjoyed the local food very much. Your apartment was pleasant to stay in and well equipped.

My wife and I stayed in the apartment for 7 nights in May 2009.
The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Double bedroom is a good size but smaller bedroom is only really suitable for 2 young children (under 10) or 1 older child or adult.
The description on the website is accurate. Property is a 'typical' spanish city centre apartment, furnished appropriately. It is very clean and well maintained. Lounge is spacious and excellent for relaxing.
It was quite easy to get the keys and the contact was very informative and helpful.
Position is excellent for tram to the northern beaches, Benidorm and beyond.
City centre position (on the Rambla) gives easy access to the old town, shopping area, large market for fresh food, and numerous restaurants and bars. Clean, impressive city beach - with outdoor free gym - and marina are short walk away.
Only drawback from our point of view was some noise at night from local bars and clubs.
We would recommend the apartment to friends and will use it again when we return to Alicante.

Apartment in Rambla Mendez Nunez Alicante

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The description interms of location, size of accommodation and furnishings was accurate and helpful.
The accommodation was fully equipped for comfortable living.
It was clean and attractive though a few details - a cupboard door hanging off in the kitchen, a door handle coming off in your hand and a hole broken through the wardrobe door in the bedroom gave a slightly run down impression.

Mr Anselmo was punctual and charming and our lack of a common language was no problem in communicating necessary details.

We would probably recommend this apartment to friends though we would warn about the noise of traffic and people at night.

We liked Alicante in the autumn and found good restaurants in the nearby old town. We were impressed with the views from the Castle of santa Barbara. we also used Alicante as a base to visit Valencia by train and Benidorm by tram. The central position of the apartment in Alicante made these trips easy.

We all enjoyed the stay which was enhanced by warm sunny weather.

Xmas in Alicante

The apartment is a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport (or the bus will drop you almost outside the door) and perfectly located for getting the best out of everything Alicante and its environs offers. The brilliant (and cheap) tram service starts pretty much next door; the excellent indoor market is quite literally just round the corner; and the port a 5-minute stroll. Who needs a car ?

On arrival we were greeted by an extremely friendly resident of the block who went out of his way to be helpful - even providing an excellent bottle of local red wine for our first night.

Don't expect luxury, but everything worked perfectly, including the free wi-fi access and we considered it excellent value for money.

The only downside worth noting is that light sleepers might be disturbed by occasional noise from revellers taking their parties into the street. On the other hand this is Spain, and you may consider such proximity to Alicante's nightlife one of the positives.

Basically loved it.
