Fish on Log Cabin Rental (Got Fish We Do!!)

The Fish On Cabin well exceeded our expectations!!! The internet photos don't do justice to this lovely cabin outside of Soldonta. From the time our family of four (Mom, Dad, & girls ages 12 & 9) pulled up we were amazed at the cabin. Settled back in a wooded area among the wildlife (moose tracks were visible, snow shoe hares running everywhere) it was a perfect size cabin for our week stay. It was by far the cleanist and well maintained place I have ever stayed in!! The king size bed and the double queen size bunk beds were very comfortable. It has a nice size bathroom with both a tub & shower. An added plus was the washer/dryer unit too. The full kitchen allowed us to enjoy and save money on meals also. The cabin is situated so that day trips to Seward, Homer, Kenai, Coopers Landing and other areas are easily reachable. Fishing was close also. It was perfect to go site seeing, exploring, and fishing then come back to the cabin and relax in the living room, playing card/board games or enjoying a movie. I can't thank Curtis, the owner enough for being so helpful to get us into the cabin and stay in touch with us before, during, and after our stay. The greeting as you arrive to the cabin is also very helpful to show you around and explain any questions you may have, along with giving you insights to the area, shortcuts to get around the town, and interesting places to visit. We as a family could not of found a better place to stay for 6 nights. It was better than being home!! We highly recommend staying at the Fish On Cabin and hope to return to enjoy this wonderful hidden cabin in the Sterling/Soldonta area again.
