This charming condo situated one block off the main street in downtown Borrego is the perfect location to walk to shops, restaurants and theater while offering peace and quiet the Anza Borrego Desert State Park offers.
The Villas Borrego complex exudes old Palm Springs-like architecture with two swimming pools and common green areas. Walk out the door of the condo into the surrounding desert, or take a pleasant walk to the State Park Visitor's Center.
The one level condo is well appointed with tile floors, cheerful colors, down-stuffed sofa, extra large dining room table with seating for four and comfortable king-sized bed. There are three patios, one overlooking green space another offering desertscape.
The Anza Borrego Desert State Park is the largest state park in California and offers endless varieties of hiking, biking, sightseeing and wildlife viewing. One of the most popular hikes, Palm Canyon, is within walking distance from the condo. There are many reasons to choose Borrego Springs as a destination besides the quiet. The annual desert flower bloom, bighorn peninsular sheep sightings, Borrego Days festival the end of October, grapefruit, oranges, lemons and limes, privately owned businesses-no chain stores, Circle of Art Festival in mid-March, the Plein-Air art event, mid-March, live music and theater revues from November through Arpil, guided hiking with the Anza Borrego Desert Natural History Association (Borrego Desert Nature Center located at 652 Palm Canyon Drive) and happy, friendly residents!

We purchased the condo for Paul's mom and decided to create a vacation condo.
Living in a town that sits in the middle of a state park offering endless places to discover and of course, peace and quiet!
My husband and I were completely smitten with this wonderful condo. Sparkling clean, thoughtful touches throughout, an exciting desert color scheme and oh so comfortable bed. The kitchen is pretty much prepared for anything you may want to whip up. There are 3 patio type spaces (2 very private) and a great carport for parking 2 cars easily. Location is tremendous. Within walking distance to most town needs and just a short stroll to a fabulous Mexican restaurant! Mountain top views out the front (as well as the beautifully tended green plantings of the condo) and desert, valley views out the back. Church Road is in the distance and we could hear beautiful bells across the sand. Sunrise and sunset vistas just out the back...plenty of storage and closet space...handy washer and dryer at the unit...did I mention clean? Everything smells fantastic. That's sounds a little weird maybe, but there is a difference between artificial smells that cover up not so clean spaces and naturally clean smells...this is the latter. We can't wait to come back. This area is so much fun to explore and just so very relaxing. Thank you for providing such a great base to start adventures from. Margaritas on the "throne" chairs at day's end highly recommended :)
This condo is very nice, and owners obviously take pride in keeping it that way. In the center of Borrego Springs, everything you need is within walking distance.

June through September: $100/night with two night minimum; $550/week and $1,200/month. $60 cleaning fee.
