This delightful self catering farmhouse is excellent value for money and extremely comfortable.It has a lovely entrance leading to a totally private courtyard beyond which is the kitchen/dining room. The sitting room is off the entrance corridor and is a lovely cosy room with cable TV and a DVD player. There is also a shower room / WC. The upper floor has 2 double bedrooms and a large bathroom. Both the bedrooms are air conditioned.The main bedroom has a large double bed and the other 2 singles. There is also a sofa bed in the sitting room.There is a lovely private roof terrace with BBQ enjoying sea and country views accessed from the kitchen and perfect for enjoying daytime sunbathing or lazy evenings ! Plenty of outdoor furniture is provided along with 2 parasols. Gharghur is a small village on top of a hill about a mile from the sea.It has various small shops from which most foods and newspapers are available all within a 5 minute walk.

Nearest airport:   Luqa at 15 Kilometres
Nearest ferry:   Valletta at 8 Kilometres
Nearest beach:   beach at 4.0 Kilometres
Car: recommended

Gharghur is well situated for easy access to all parts of the island. It is 2 Km from the main road that runs along the north coast from east to west. The sandy beaches to the west are reached in 10 /15 mins and a trip to Valletta takes about the same time. The Splash and fun water park on the coast is 4 km. The nightlife area of Paceville is a 10 minute drive . Gharghur itself is a sleepy small village which is not on the tourist trail and has the benefit of some lovely walks in the local countryside, one of which has fabulous views of much of the north coast. The house is situated down a pedestrian alley approx 200 yards from the church which is itself the focal point of the village. It is a bus terminus so it is easy to travel to Valletta and from there anywhere else using the very cheap service. There are numerous good restaurants within a ten to fifteen minute drive.
