Enormous 3-bed/2-bath apartment situated in old palace on Calle Caballeros, the most historic street in Valencia. The flat has an abundance of character and period features, including barrel-vaulted ceilings with wooden beams and mosaic tiled floors, as well as some modern touches. You enter the property via the grand entrance up one flight of the marble staircase. The entrance hall greets you and straight ahead is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. To the right is the shower room, 2nd bedroom and rustic family kitchen with breakfast table. To the left of the entrance is a long corridor off which are the main dining area, the 3rd bedroom, the lounge/office area (with WiFi internet connection) and the sitting room at the front with further dining area. We wish to warn our guests about noise levels - the street will be busy most nights until 4am - you are in the heart of Valencia with the best bars and restaurants all around, so enjoy all that this fantastic city has to offer

Simply no better location from which to explore Valencia's historic quarter with its tourist attractions, restaurants and nightlife. The Plaza de la Virgen, Basilica and Cathedral are less than 100m away at the end of the street. Calle Caballeros and its historic palaces, including the Valencian Government building, will feature in any guide to the city of Valencia. Also, within a few minutes walk are the Micalet, the Silk Exchange (La Lonja - UNESCO world heritage site), the Mercado Central, the IVAM modern art museum, the Palace of the Marques de Dos Aguas and many more. Only 5 minutes walk away is the Turia public park, where you can enjoy a stroll or bike ride surrounded by nature. The park is home to the amazing City of Arts and Sciences, the Palau de Musica and the Bio Parc zoo. The fashion boutiques of Calle Colon are just 10 minutes walk away. The America's Cup Port (location of the F1 race circuit) and Malvarossa and Las Arenas beaches are only 15 minutes away by taxi.

  • Special events - the owner will discuss prices for special events such as Fallas, Formula 1 GP, Moto GP, etc upon request. General: Prices, terms and conditions are subject to review and bookings will be confirmed at the prices and conditions ruling at the time of confirmation. If you require a cleaning service during your stay, this is available for an additional fee (please enquire about this if you are interested). We can also arrange purchase of essential food items if your flight is arriving at an unsociable hour.
  • Payment Terms: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the price is due at the time of the booking. The balance of the price (50%) is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. If the booking is made less than 8 weeks before arrival, the full amount will be due at the time of booking. We also take a damage deposit of 350 GBP, which will be refunded once the apartment has been inspected at the end of the rental period. It is possible to rent the apartment for less than 7 days for most of the year, although not usually during the high season - please ask about this if there is availability.
  • Cancellations: Must be made in writing or by email and will be acknowledged via email by the owners. In the event of cancellation less than 8 weeks to arrival, a refund of 50% of the balance will be made.

  • The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with open plan feel. A half wall seperates the bedroom and bathroom areas to provide some privacy, otherwise the rooms have no adjoining door. In the ensuite there is a corner bath with shower facility, as well as a toilet and washbasin. The shower room has a large shower (90cm base) and multi-function shower head, as well as a toliet and wash basin. Both bathrooms have modern white bath furniture with chrome fittings, mosaic tile flooring and dark wood ceilings. There is an extraction fan in each bathroom.

  • Bedroom 2 has a high quality cot that can also be converted into a small child's bed. It can be used or removed as necessary. Maximum number of 6 does not include a baby or young child using the cot. The window in this bedroom opens out into the kitchen, as it is not on an outside wall - this is typical of some bedrooms in old Valencian buildings.

Notes: The flat is slap-bang in the middle of the old town on the main street. From the front sitting room there are fantastic views onto the street. During Las Fallas and other festivals the parades pass directly in front of the building, so you have a bird's eye view of proceedings. The flat has mosaic floor tiling throughout and original barrel-vaulted beam ceilings. The two bathrooms are newly refurbished and have high quality fixtures and fittings. The kitchen has a large American-style Bosch fridge-freezer with cold water/ice dispenser, as well as a Bosch oven and washing machine. In the lounge/office there is a Bang & Olufsen TV with built-in DVD and CD player. All furniture is of high quality, including the beds, which are of luxury standard. There is an iPod docking station and another portable music player for guests' use. The flat certainly has the wow! factor due to its location, size and facilties. It is certainly not your bog-standard flat in a drab apartment block!
