Photos and Description of the Florence vacation apartment rental A self catering rental few steps from the 'Duomo' of Florence!

The house is located in the historic city centre of Florence, in the historic region of 'San Frediano'. From the house you can reach by foot all the important place of the city centre of Florence (Boboli garden 400 mts, Pitti Palace 500mts, Ponte Vecchio 900 mts away from our property). If you don't want to go walking to the town, the bus stop is at only 50m from the house, the bus will carry you in the Florence's medieval town in 3'. There is also a very big supermarket 300 mts away form the property. The apartment is a charming and elegant. The 2 bedrooms are very cozy and a great deal of attention to details was paid. The apartament has 2 double bedrooms, one living room with DVD Player, decoder for the international channels and a LCD TV, one independent fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom. In the entrance of the apartment there is a furnished cupboard where our guests can find all necessary items for tasting Italian wine.

The house is located in the historic city centre of Florence, in the historic region of 'San Frediano'. The rail station of Florence is 1 mile away form the house. Most of the important museums of Florence are very close (i.e.: Palazzo Pitti 500mts, Uffizi Museum 1,2 km,). Typical Florentine restaurant and bar are all at walking distance.

Lovely apartment quite near the city center

We had wonderful time in Firenze (Florence). Apartment was spacious and had many good sides like balcony and huge bedrooms. But we had our 10 months old son travelling with us and there is no elevator.

Also one out of two bedrooms and the living room are facing street side which is quite heavily trafficked. We had no problem with the noise but for light sleepers it could be a handicap.

B Family members are great hosts. They picked us up from the railway station and whenever we had any question we got answers simply by sending sms.

Apartment has no internet connection which was for us something we are - nowdays - not used to. Also you need to walk prox 15 mins to get to the old city even the old city walls are just a block away.

But comparing price,hospitality,space and other minor details we are happy to recommend this lovely apartment for those who are able to walk a little bit and do not need a elevator.

Thank you A&A. Hopefully you have wonderful time with your little baby and still time to help you visitors like you helped us when needed.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment which is situated only a pleasant walk from the historic centre of Florence. The apartment is in a traditional block and is very spacious with immaculately clean, high ceilinged rooms. The apartment is well furnished and fully equipped. The french doors, serving the kitchen and rear bedroom, have a very pleasant and peaceful aspect overlooking the garden areas. There is traffic noise to the front, however this didn’t cause us a problem. Overall the apartment offered good value for money.
We used Florence as a centre to visit Rome, Pisa, Lucca and Siena all within 90 minutes when travelling by train, which again offer very good value when compared with UK train travel. All in all a very good week!

Apt was very clean and comfortable

This spacious apt was nicely decorated, super clean and had very comfortable beds. The kitchen and bathroom had absolutely everything we needed for our short stay and the washer was an added bonus. The apt is located in a very convenient area in Florence with bakery, grocery, other stores and restaurants nearby. The bus going downtown stops just down the street. We stayed in this apt for 5 nights recently and were absolutely satisfied. The landlords were very accommodating on our check-in and check-out and even picked us up at the train station upon arrival. Very nice fellows! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely apartment and very warm welome to Florence

This is an absolute gem of an apartment. Clean, spacious and close to all the main attractions. Was met by a lovely lady at the train station who took us to the apartment. Very clean and had all amenities is promised in the advertising – unlike some accommodation we had previously stayed in. Were given good instructions on how to get around and lots of information available on arrival. Great supermarket about 200m away. Number 13 bus goes to city centre and Santa Maria train/bus station. Number 12 bus will bring you back although it is not far to walk to all attractions from the apartment. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Florence. The apartment we moved to which was just around the corner was not a patch on your lovely property. Siena is a must see for a day trip.

4 of us stayed at this apartment (2 couples) and it was excellent . Good posistion in the city with a fantastic restaurant just around the corner . All the facilities in the apartment are of an excellent standard with a large kitchen and decent bathroom . The only fault we found was due to the apartment being on a busy road the front bedroom could get noisy , though this had no great effect on us personally .
