Bordeaux Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

This beautiful, spacious apartment at the very heart of historic Bordeaux was renovated by an architect in 2012 to the highest standards giving you all the conveniences you expect - from WIFI to dishwasher, tumbledryer and Nespresso - with all the character of a luxurious 18th century Bordeaux residence.

Furnished throughout with exquisite taste (mixing original 18th century paintings and engravings with 20th century iconic pieces of furniture), the apartment features a large and quiet master bedroom, sunny living room with balcony looking out over historic buildings and featuring an additional sofa bed for 2 persons, spacious dining area, fully-equipped kitchen - including a lovely breakfast bar - and bathroom with separate toilet and a wash hands. It also benefits from private parking for small and medium car, which is definitely rare in this part of the city, and all bed linen and towels are included.

This is a perfect base from which to explore Bordeaux and its region and return from each day's adventures to the welcome of a true home from home. Everything you might want is minutes away, from many nice restaurants, typical cafés and delicious bakeries to world-class museums, enjoyable theatres, cinemas and an amazing opera hall. My manager or I will be more than happy to give you personal advice and help organise your specific requirements, so that you can relax and enjoy our admirable city. Many city guides and addresses that tourists do not usually find will be at your disposal in the apartment. The Tourist Information Center is also within walking distance, and their staff will be very helpful when booking wine tours, city tours of the UNESCO listed heritage sites, etc. Of course, if you prefer, taxis can stop outside the door and the tram stop is just 300 feet away.

Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5
We just finished staying four weeks and felt right at home. Being in our 60's, we enjoyed the enthusiasm of the younger generation that were our neighbors. During the World Cup we heard spontaneous singing of the French national anthem, cheering, and celebrations. It kept us young and feeling as part of the neighborhood. Eneka and Antoine were both very helpful and supportive. We found our favorite little spots for breakfast, coffee, etc. The tram was easy and one does not really need a car. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to help us celebrate 40 years of marriage. Bordeaux is a wonderful city and we felt fortunate to have found this place. Voilà!

Best in Bordeaux

  • 5 of 5
The apartment was perfectly appointed with excellent appliances and lots of space. The location was exactly what we wanted, in the old city but not noisy, and near to the river so that we could join the throngs of runners in the morning. Antoine was informative and helpful, recommending a first night restaurant, Le Petit Commerce, which became a favorite. A written set of directions for the apartment would be our only recommendation. We have rented several dozen apartments over the years and find that having something in writing about the appliances as well as a list of useful address and restaurant recommendations is helpful. Otherwise, a lovely visit to a wonderful city.

Beautiful Apartment in a Beautiful City

  • 5 of 5
We stayed three nights at the apartment which is in the city center of Bordeaux. We drove from Paris to Bordeaux so the convenience of the parking space (which is small) was great. We did not use our car while in Boradeaux because we could walk to everything or take the tram. The apartment is clean & modern and very spacious. We were visiting our son who was studying a semester abroad at Bordeaux University, so having the kitchen made is easy to have our son join us for lunches and dinners. A food/wine store is a 10 minute walk from the apartment, so it was easy to purchase the things we needed. Also the apartment is walking distance to a morning market with fresh fruit, vegetables, and meats. We were spending two weeks in France, so the washer and dryer in the apartment help us to be able to pack less clothing. Checking in and out of the apartment was easy with Antoine, thank you! We enjoyed our stay in Bordeaux and this apartment made our stay very comfortable.

Quiet and comfortable

  • 4 of 5
The apartment is clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient to the centre of Bordeaux. Our overall experience was most enjoyable and we would certainly return if we were to visit Bordeaux again. One small item lacking was a booklet of instructions for the coffee machine and the television, with a few emergency phone numbers. Directions to places such as the closest supermarket would also have been useful. That's fairly standard in most apartments, but was missing here (or perhaps we couldn't find it!)

Outstanding

  • 5 of 5
We have recently stayed for four nights and only have positive things to say about apartment. Very stylish with every modern convenience in quiet street, interesting area which was constantly changing depending on which roller door was open. In vicinity space that specialized in fishing hardware and guy working on carving gargoyle! Lots of little bars and good restaurants, close enough to mainstream high end shopping and river. Only downside was weather but can't have everything. Antoine most accommodating and helpful with complicated travel arrangements. We thought it was great.

A Jewel in the heart of Bordeaux!

  • 5 of 5
After an overnight flight, a train ride from CDG to Bordeaux & then finally a taxi, we arrived into beautiful “Historic Old Bordeaux” the facade of this building is just what you’d expect ~ gorgeous! Antoine was there to greet us & lead us up to the apartment. The apartment is spacious & has all the modern conveniences that you could possibly need. The huge windows let in the sunshine which just adds even more flare to this well appointed apartment. Antoine got us settled & made us feel right at home. The location is excellent, just a short walk to everything you need, restaurants, shops and historic sights. You’re only a couple of blocks from the Dordogne River. After exploring all day it’s so nice to come back to the apartment to relax & have a glass of wine. The kitchen is great for dining in as it has everything you need. We would absolutely stay here again!
