Hollywood Beach Vacation Rental apartment

Our family comprising 2 adults, 1 teen & 3 kids stayed here for a week. This is a lovely location, right on the beach & very easy to get to. It is within walking distance from Walmart & very close to Target, Publix & Aventura Mall - about 4 - 5 mins driving. There is also a bank & petrol station & mart opposite the apt building. Our room was a 2 bedroom unit on the 17th floor & we had wonderful views of the sea as well as the bridge & waterway & the city lights from the balcony . The apt was very clean, the layout was spacious & comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, we had 2 double beds in 1 room & a queen in the master bedroom. It was very convenient to have beach chairs, a beach umbrella & beach towels. The linen supplied with the apt was clean & adequate. The kitchen utensils were stylish but very basic, no dishes to do any baking & there was no washer/dryer within the apt. There was one on the same floor for public use which you could use at an additional cost and which was usually always available. For us, this wasn't very convenient though - with kids on holiday, we always seem to have a lot of washing so that was a little inconvenient for us. Also, it would have been useful for us to have some chest of drawers or shelves in the bedrooms, apart from the walk-in hanging closets in both bedrooms, there was little space to put folded clothes - we ended up leaving most of our clothes in our suitcase. We had an incident on the 1st day where our toilet became clogged, but this was sorted by the following day. Apart from that though, if the washer/dryer isn't too critical a factor on your holiday, I would definitely recommend this place, there is a very welcoming feel to the apt building & also inside the apt itself. The views are breath-taking & the location very ideal if you want to take in a bit of shopping along with your seaside relaxation. The pool area is very relaxing & there was a well-equipped gymn as well.
