Surrounded by parkland, the estate comprises a large manor house and a north wing with a collection of sizeable stone outbuildings overlooking the central courtyard containing a number of specimen trees and blooming bushes. With its generous furnishings, the property will comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests.
A number of relaxing spaces exist around the property, perfect for unwinding – under the trees, beside the pool or in the comfortable sitting rooms. For entertainment there is satellite TV and DVD player, a sound system, a library of books and a few board games. Contact with the outside world can be made via the ADSL internet connection and wireless, fax/answering machine with copier and telephone.
The manor house is airy with plenty of natural light and has comfortable reception rooms. There is a grand salon, a Petit salon, lounge and spacious dining room featuring a stone fireplace and large doors which open onto the peaceful terrace set against the backdrop of the beautiful rolling hills. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with an American fridge, two dishwashers and all the facilities to inspire gourmet creations for budding gastronomes. There is a fully furnished utility room for washing and 2 further cloakrooms.
The main bedroom has a boudoir, dressing room and en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi, shower and separate WC. The room commands magnificent views of the grounds and gorgeous surroundings. The 5 other double and twin rooms each enjoy en suite facilities with shower rooms, twin basins and private WC’s. One of the bedrooms is situated on the ground floor of the north wing.
Set in mature parkland at the end of a rural cul-de-sac, privacy is assured behind the stone walls. The trees include conifers, fig, pomegranate, poplar and other fruit trees and are home to a variety of wildlife and birds which can be heard peacefully singing from time to time. The heated outdoor swimming pool is partly walled and has a terrace with space for relaxing after a dip. Guests are able to dine outside in comfort with splendid views of the parkland and beyond thanks to the large terrace with garden furniture and Australian “outdoor kitchen” barbeque. Parking for up to five cars can be found in the pretty and unusual stone wagon-shed. Alternatively this space is ideal for a shaded summer dining area. There are plenty of other parking spaces in the grounds.
