Enjoy a peaceful week in our delightfully situated cottage which been recently fitted out to a good standard and comes highly recommended by some very satisfied customers (details available).
Woodbine Cottage can be found nestling on the outskirts of a quiet North Lincolnshire coastal village called Saltfleetby. It lies on a very quiet leafy lane, and enjoys a very private position at least 200m away from the nearest property. The only neighbours here are lots of trees and open fields. The tranquillity is quite special.
The cottage itself is fully centrally heated & has three nicely sized bedrooms, two of which are doubles, the third having bunk beds and a travel cot. One of the double bedrooms contains a really gorgeous four poster bed. All are furnished with solid pine wardrobes and draw units to a high specification
Garden facilities & Saltfleetby:
Enjoy quiet countryside evenings sitting out on the spacious patio with the heat of an open fire to keep off the chill. There is also an imported Swedish charcoal barbeque for outside cooking.
The village of Saltfleetby is located rurally just a few minutes from the some of the best beaches on the east coast. Saltfleetby has a rich history and nearby ‘Saltfleet’ was once an important east coast port.
Although the cottage is tastefully fitted out inside, externally it retains the feel of a real country cottage with mature & verdant gardens to front & rear, rustic out buildings and a large wood pile for the use of cottage residents (in wood stove, patio heater etc).
Resorts:
The ancient market town of Louth is only 15mins away by car, and the area is excellent for vast beaches with gorgeous sand dunes and nature reserves. This area is very popular with the bird watching community. There are also many fishing opportunities both fresh and salt water.
The seaside resorts of Mablethorpe, Ingoldmels and Skegness and Cleethorpes are all within easy striking distance, or if you like rolling hills, the Lincolnshire wolds are also within easy reach (the area around Binbrook is especially nice).
The full package is an irresistible combination of luxurious accommodation in a secluded rural setting that will totally relax even the most stressed city dweller.
If you like to eat out there are several excellent pubs/restaurants in the area, we especially recommend the Prussian Queen pub which is a 10 min stroll away.
