This place captures what the Aloha spirit is all about!
My husband and I rented this property for our honeymoon for 27 days. Hearing mixed reviews about the different areas of Hawaii, and never having been to Hawaii before we had no idea where we would be staying or what we would be getting with this rental. This place was breathtaking! Tucked away in the hills of the Makaha Valley, this property is a GEM! The owner was so helpful giving us a list of favorite local spots, and answering every single question I had. The only thing he failed to do was brag enough about how AMAZING this place would be!
The pictures of this property and the views shown do it absolutely no justice. This property is immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated. It comes fully stocked with ALL of the comforts of home, so much in fact we hardly wanted to leave the complex because we had everything we needed right there. It is a hop, skip, and jump to the laundry facilities, and conveniently located just next to the elevator. The grounds look like a resort with gorgeous peacocks roaming freely, and the sound of baby mountain goats echoing from the mountain. Aside from the peacocks talking to each other, this place is quiet and peaceful ALL the time! The pool and BBQ area are perfect for outdoor entertaining and as long as you respect the rules of the complex, the residents there are delightful!
It is a short, beautiful walk to one of the most beautiful, peaceful local beaches on the island where there is always sea turtles, and according to the locals, a great place to spot whales as well. It is and super close to town. There is a bus stop conveniently located just in front of the complex, and it is less than an hour drive to Waikiki/Honolulu, but just far enough away from the touristy hustle and bustle of the larger cities to really give you a taste of what real Hawaii is all about.
I could go on, and on, I can not say enough about this property, it truly made our stay magical! It is worth every penny and then some, if we ever return to Hawaii, this is the only place we will stay.
