The Lodge is a charming, highly individual, detached stone cottage with a woodburner and the added benefit of a south-facing private enclosed garden - a real sun trap and perfect for privacy and BBQs. The largest and the most private of several cottages at Colmer Country Estate, it is also perfectly placed for all the wonderful leisure facilities on site. The Lodge is a well designed luxury stone cottage, attractively furnished, and extremely well equipped. The private estate has 28 acres of beautiful and peaceful grounds with full access to woodlands, a private fishing lake and meadows. It is a wonderfully situated cottage, converted from a barn in 1998, in the very heart of the South Hams - an area of outstanding natural beauty in South Devon. It is near many beautiful beaches and excellent pubs. The pretty towns of Dartmouth, Totnes and Salcombe and Dartmoor are all within easy reach.The perfect setting for year-round romantic breaks, family holidays or even a magical Christmas!

The cottage is part of the Colmer Country Estate near Plymouth and consists of a carefully restored 18th century house and converted farm buildings. The estate has 28 acres of its own beautiful and peaceful private grounds which include full access to woodlands, a private fishing lake and meadows. Perfectly situated in the heart of the South Hams with easy travel access - an area of outstanding natural beauty in South Devon. There are many beautiful beaches, Dartmoor and the pretty towns of Dartmouth, Totnes and Salcombe all within easy reach. The superb on-site facilities include an excellent indoor heated swimming pool with gym, outdoor pool, tennis court and fishing lake.
