Photos and Description of the West Sussex vacation rental Sun sand sea, and a golf course

Neat self catering riverside cottage with golf course nearby and the beach within walking distance. Private parking but you may find the car is not needed during your stay. The house comprises entrance hall, cloakroom, living room with French windows open on to terrace to river, well fitted kitchen with dining area. Upstairs one large double bedroom with views across the river to Arun yacht Club and Littlehampton Golf Club, and ensuite shower room with wc. Second double bedroom, single bedroom and family bathroom. The kitchen has electric oven with grill, 4 ring gas hob, good supply of utensils, crockery, pots and pans, oven gloves, and tea towels supplied. There is also a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with ice box. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes, bedside table and clocks. This lovely house is next to the River Arun a fast flowing river unsuitable for swimming. There are safe bathing beaches nearby.

We are in Littlehampton with its lovely beaches and the river Arun, moorings available for visitors. Close to historic Arundel, and Chichester, and a train ride to Worthing and Brighton with its shops , The Lanes and Marina. To the west: Bognor Regis, Portsmouth with its historic ships and Chichester harbour. . Visit the Roman Palace at Fishbourne, walk in the ancient yew forest at Kingley Vale or along the South Downs Way. Enjoy a round of golf at Littlehampton Golf Club just across the river or at Rustington or Ham Manor (handicap certificate may be required) Also convenient for Glorious Goodwood, the Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival meetings Enjoy at day out at Amberley Working Museum or Singleton Open Air Museum.See the mediaeval church at Climping and the cathedrals at Chichester and Arundel. Or just relax sitting by the river and watch the world go by

No car...No worries. Newsagent, supermarket, restaurants and pubs all nearby. 5 minutes walk to mainline station. Regularly trains for Brighton, Portsmouth and London Gatwick. We are not really suitable for toddlers or very young children. There are electricity plugs at crawling level and there is neither stairgate, high chair or cots available and a fast flowing river at the end of the garden so no swimming or paddling. No pets and no smoking, please. Come and stay with us for a relaxing, peaceful time. Enjoy motorsport? We are an ideal location for the Festival of Speed at Goodwood which is coming up soon. Fancy a long weekend then give us a call

Golf: We are just across the river from Littlehampton Golf Club. Ham Manor and Rustington Golf Centre are about 8 minutes drive. Please check with courses first. Handicap certificates maybe required. Also close by Chichester Golf Centre, Goodwood Park. Worthing , Avisford Park and Hill Barn Golf courses.

Great place to relax and see the south.

The property at Little Hampton is in a great location - less than an hours drive from Gatwick (it is also very near a train station) and less than an hour to Lewes or Brighton. It provides a wonderful opportunity to relax with a delightful terrace backing directly on to a waterway. The property is fully equipped and spacious and would easily accommodate two couples travelling together or a family of 4 or 5 as there are two good sized and one smaller bedrooms. The host are delightful - they care about their guests and that you have a great stay. Little Hampton is charming and offers an easy walk out to pubs and shops. We would heartily recommend staying.
