About Scott Whitmore
I work overseas but call Hampton my home and spend my summers in the area. I grew up in Newburyport, Massachusetts but enjoy the New Hampshire seacoast area for the many activities and easy access to both Boston and points north.
I know the area very well and have lived there with my family for several years. I know the best places to eat and can offer tips on where the locals go and what they do for fun.
Scott Whitmore purchased this house in 2010
Why Scott Whitmore chose Hampton
The New Hampshire seacoast is the best place and a hidden gem and North Beach in Hampton is the place that combines both easy access to and from Route 95 with a quiet and peaceful beach so you can enjoy your vacation. It is also walking distance to Hampton beach so you can enjoy the bandstand, arcades and other attractions without getting stuck in the traffic. This house was built in 2004 by the original owner with attention to detail. It has an outdoor shower, backyard with deck and off-street parking. The yard is grass and one of the largest in the area. It is steps to the beach and has the marsh in the back. The house has two units that can be rented separately or together. The bottom unit is 4 bedrooms/1.5 baths with a full washer and dryer and the upstairs unit has a separate entrance with one bedroom, one bath, full kitchen, washer/dryer, roof deck with views of the ocean and marsh. There is also a separate office. I bought this as a retirement home to be enjoyed by my friends and family during the summer and fall. It is a large home with over 2500 square feet that is in excellent condition.
What makes this house unique
1 minute walk to North Beach, Hampton's best beach that doesn't attract the large tourist crowd so you can enjoy the beach in peace. Take a walk along the seawall or ride your bike to Rye or Portsmouth along the ocean path. Watch the sun rise in the morning and see it set over the marsh in the evening. This house has one of the largest grass lawns in the area with a deck in the back to enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine. Perfect for children. North Beach is great for surfing and boogie boarding and the house comes with several boogie boards. One of the best ice cream shops in New England is only a 5 minute drive away and I will provide renters with my insider's guide to the best pizza, seafood, bagels and attractions that you won't find in any guide.
