The picturesque village is well-served with restaurants and small shops ,hotels such as and the port supports ferries to nearby Ithaka and Kefalonia, making the town a minor centre for tourism. Small pebbles beaches offer privacy, the main 2 km stretch beach is ideal for families and paradise for windsurfing and watersports. Vassiliki is a traditional fishing village, located at the Southern-most tip of the beautiful island of Lefkas. It overlooks Kephallonia (of Captain Corelli fame) and is part of the Ionian group of islands in the North West of Greece and is world famous for windsurfing. But it has managed to retain its unspoilt charm with chilled tavernas, cafes and bars lining the picturesque harbour.

You can reach Lefkada by car, via the bridge that connects Lefkada with the mainland (Etelokarnania). By BUS there are frequent KTEL bus routes to Lefkada from Athens, Thessalonica, Patras, and other major Greek cities. From Athens, bus service is daily and travel time is 5 hours. From Thessalonica, bus service is 2 times the week and travel time is 7 hours. FLIGHTS There are daily flights from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos, to Aktio Preveza Airport (45 mins)

The villa was even better in reality than in photos. It was just 30 meter to the beach and the view was wonderful. The area was very calm with no disturbing traffic or noise. No stairs wich was excellent for us.
It was clean and tidy and we felt very welcomed by the owner.

Been there the 2end week of september 2008. Brandnew villa with everything you need. Almost on the (pebble) beach. Clean and very luxury, mostly very quit neighborhood. Very kind owner.

Nice village on 10 minutes walking.

Beautiful Island, great sandy beaches and deepblue water.

Great location for windsurfing, we had 7 days 5 beaufort or more, very good windsurf-equipment rental on 50 mtrs.

Car recommended.
