The villa is very big. Our group of 8 only half filled it. If you had a big group, ir would be fantastic value. The living room accommodation is massive but very "cluttered" which I guess is an Italian thing. The main living room must have been 40ftx30ft with 25ft ceilings! We went at Easter when the weather wasn’t great, so we didn’t get much use of the facilities. The pool looked great, but was still too cold to use. They have a very serviceable tennis court, which I said they should push more. There is no heating!
The bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate but not luxurious. The kitchen has everything you will need and more!
There is a big garden. The owners’ dogs have free range, but I guess they would lock them up, if you asked. The owners, live on site, which some people may not want.
Marzia is as helpful as you could ask for.
Sassari hasn’t a great deal to offer if you are used to European holiday destinations with lots of places to eat. You will need a car to get somewhere else, more interesting! The pizza place over the road was good value. Sardinia is very beautiful, especially in the spring. I will bring a motor bike, next time, as the roads look like fun.
All in all, good value, adequate accommodation. If it had been hotter we could have really utilised the place more!
