We offer wheelchair friendly, unique, luxury accommodation in Point Lonsdale: a private, fully self-contained holiday cottage. This rental is situated in a good location, close to the beach, skate park and walking tracks.
Stylish Ruby Cottage on the Bellarine Peninsula offers two bedrooms. The master boasts a queen-size bed with ensuite and the other bedroom is furnished with two king single beds, which can be made into a king, depending on the needs of your party. Both bedrooms open to sunny private decks.
Our holiday home equally features a gourmet kitchen and a sun-drenched living area, which opens to a sunny deck with Mains gas BBQ and a fully fenced garden with alfresco eating area. The rental includes a games room, as well, with a billiard table for the exclusive use of this cottage.
For your comfort while on the Great Ocean Road, Ruby Cottage offers ducted heating and cooling, ramps for wheelchair access, bathrooms designed for use by people of all abilities, washing machine and dryer.
The rental can supply additional rollaway beds or Portacots to accommodate extra adults/children.
All linen and towels supplied.
Lonsdale Palms is located at the junction between the turn off to Queenscliffe and Point Lonsdale. Just metres from a fantastic leash free dog beach and some of the best dog walks this area has to offer.
There are 3 premises on the property each offering dog friendly accommodation.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 3 decking area house at the rear of the main house.
There was a private driveway leading to a secure, fenced off property which was perfect for our dogs to rest after spending hours at the beach.
This is not your standard self contained dog friendly accommodation, the luxury goodies show an attention to detail which will surpass even the finest 5 star hotels.
So much consideration has been put into furnishings and offerings of this property. Nothing has been left to chance.
A great entertaining kitchen complete with a range of serving platters and cutlery shows the owners know how to separate themselves from the masses.
A gorgeous welcome platter of wine, coffee, chocolates, biscuits and nibbles awaits you on table.
Venturing into the bedrooms, 1000 plus thread Egyptian sheets on king beds that separate into singles make the best first impression. In case you have missed the luxury towels and homemade soaps which are presented with care, there are more in the bathrooms.
Apart from our clothes, dogs, food and wine, there was nothing we needed to bring.
We enjoyed entertaining friends on the deck with the bbq all whilst having our four legged friends wandering around in the open plan living space.
For those who need a little more entertainment after dinner, there was a pool room to work out the competitive streak.
What we loved the most was being treated as responsible dog owners and not being given a list of ‘rules’ to abide by we were just welcomed.
