Beautiful discreet contemporary entrance with two digicoded doors and lift give you access to the flat where the triple glazing ensures peace and quiet while being in the heart of the bustling Grands Boulevards. The flat is high ceilinged and build new behind a traditional Paris facade. The furnishings are contemporary and in excellent taste. The owners pride themselves on the pristine condition of the apartment and therefore maintain a no smoking policy and ask guests to remove their shoes to ensure their apartment continues to please. This has kept the flat in pristine and good hygienic condition. Due to ramp and lift inside the building the flat is accessible to wheel chair users. Business: The flat is equipped with WiFi internet link and a large desk. Situated just off the Grand Boulevards in the Bourse area gives easy access to Paris' business areas. Taxi rank and Velib station outside the door means no late arrivals for appointments. Eurostar station is 15 minute walk, or 5 minute taxi ride. 20 minutes by Taxi to either Charles de Gaulle or Orly airports (under normal traffic conditions)

Wining and Dining: All around the flat one will find an eclectic choice of restaurants from small sandwich shops to classic French cuisine and traditional brasseries. Out of earshot, but almost next door are two all night cafes. Restaurant guides will be provided in the flat as well as contact for an in-house chef who will make your favourite meal without having to shop or leave the flat.

Entertainment: Situated in the heart of the theatre district there is plenty of choice from the Theatre National to the Folies Bergere. There are also numerous large cinemas that show films in their original version (VO) with French subtitles.

I liked this place so much, I came back!

I have finally recovered from the jet lag enough to write a rave review of this apartment!! Yes this is the second time I have stayed here this year. My last trip was in April 09 so please read my review for that time as well. I liked this apartment so much I had to stay here again. I don't think I can say enough of how much I enjoy staying here.

I love the location – less than 5 minute walk to metro lines 8 & 9 - a 5 minute walk to two grocery stores - 15 minute walk to The Louvre – a 15-20 minute walk (or take the Metro) to Gare du Nord - a Pharmacie across the street came in handy for my allergies. Did I mention the yummy Crepe stand you can see from the apartment window??!!
Bottom line – this apartment is in a central location!

Everything I needed was in the apartment - cooking utensils, washer/dryer, TV, wireless internet, a good spot to drink my wine and eat cheese!! Most of all….the owner, Roger, is the best! Roger is just a text or phone call away and is very helpful and flexible (check in/out times). The money transaction is easy and you don’t have to deal with wire transfers with extra charges.

The apartment is very well kept and clean, so what more could you ask for? I’m almost afraid to write good things about this apartment because I want to make sure no one rents this place next year when I come back!!

Great apartment, location & owner

We really enjoyed staying in this flat with our 7 year old son. The location was convenient and it was easy to get to the metro, local shops, restaurants, and major Paris sites. The clean, secure entry was nice, as were the working elevators.

The flat was clean, well kept, and presented as advertised...including two nice comfy soft bathrobes, loads of books in different languages, and a working wireless internet!

We enjoyed the owner who was very flexible, friendly and easy to work with. I would stay here again and I am already recommending the flat to my friends if they need to travel to Paris for fun or work.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

A perfect vacation apartment!

First of all, the owners – Roger and Rose were very genuine and nice! Thank you again for letting us stay in your apartment. We truly enjoyed it!

The apartment is spacious, in a great location, a secure area, and very close to the Metro. The Louvre and Seine are about a 20 minute walk away. We were also steps away to cafes, grocery stores, and shopping as well. There is a great crepe stand we ordered from almost every night! We walked and used the Metro everywhere!

Everything you need is in this comfortable apartment - washer/dryer, modern bathroom, internet connection, etc! The kitchen is equipped if you want to stay in a cook - microwave, oven, stove, refridgerator and freezer.

The transaction was very easy with Roger/Rose and I was happy to NOT have to deal with wire transfers and extra bank fees etc! If we had questions, they were very responsive to texts and emails (to avoid phone costs I communicated via texts and emails). We can’t wait to visit again and plan on staying here. We will definitely recommend to our friends to stay here as well!

Your home away from home

It is located in a very nice location with shops, cafes , markets nearby, within walking distance;the surrounding area is fantastic especially Grands Boulevards with markets and restaurants & all means of transportation.
Very safe and nice for a family. All windows are sound proof , so my 3 old son could easily fall asleep.
Apartment was peaceful and quiet, in very good shape. Kitchen and dining area, computer desk. it is very well equipped with all your needs, The kitchen had everything you need, a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave. They had plenty of dishes, cups, glasses and utensils, that you can prepare full meals.
Sure I'd recommend this property and I would definitely stay here again, I really loved that area the best. It was a great apartment in a good area. I did a lot of research online and this was a pretty good find (nice apartment, good location, good price).

A gem! Much better than a hotel

I travel a lot, and unless I intend to stay somewhere for only a few days, I prefer to rent an apartment rather check into a hotel, and this little gem is just the kind of place I look for. It was clean, well kept and well equipped, perfectly located, close to the Subway, shops, clubs and restaurants, yet the bedroom windows still insulated me from the city sounds when I wanted to sleep in, and most importantly, I felt at home. It worked out cheaper than a hotel too (I can't always get someone else to pay for my trips). I would certainly visit it again, and take my girlfriend next time.
