This stunning, spacious, light filled loft is being offered for rent . The space is a floor through loft with the keyed elevator opening directly into the living area, where you will immediately be transported to a calm, zen-like atmosphere. The windows in this area face south allowing sun and light to greet you all day. The open kitchen is fully equipped, and has a dining bar with a butcher-block counter. The large dining room is warm and inviting and segues into a cozy den area. Mirrored closets divide and give privacy to the bedroom which is large and spacious. All throughout, you are totally surrounded by beautiful artwork and smart, comfortable furnishings acquired all over the world. There is considerable light throughout, as the loft faces South, North and West.
The location is truly amazing. Centrally located, you are 5 minutes from Times Square or Grand Central (one stop on the subway). Equally close is the Financial District, South Seaport, Chinatown, Soho, Noho, Tribecca, Battery Park, Little Italy, East Village and West Village, and Chelsea. You are surrounded by lots of wonderful restaurants, cafes, coffee bars as well as galleries, nightlife, and shopping. Taxis are readily available, and all subways are within easy walking distance. However, the loft is very quiet and peaceful, complete with a Baby Grand Piano!

Having graduated from NYU, I loved the area so I decided to stay. During the years I have lived and worked all over the world as an Interior Designer, Film Producer and Author. I love to travel, hike, bike, paint, work out, movies, museums, galleries, and discover new restaurants with my friends. All the normal stuff.....which living in N.Y. allows me to do. Most of all, I love coming home to my loft.....it is a sanctuary and lets me rejuvenate and feel nurtured.
It is a gateway to the world, and has so many things to do. The space is so comfortable that it is like having a house in the city.
I love to get a coffee from a nearby coffee shop in the morning and walk to historic Washington Square Park and watch the dogs playing and the people, exercising, playing chess, and music. What a great way to start the day!
This has become a very central area of the city, as there is so much to do. Parks, cafes, movies, theatre, restaurants, biking, museums, galleries and much more, are all within walking distance. The loft is surrounded by many historic blocks. Public transportation to all parts of the city is at your doorstep.
