On absolute beachfront in the sleepy seaside village of Wooli, The Purple Place preserves the traditional Australian beach holiday experience in a funky 50's seaside cottage, renovated to include all the modern comforts and conveniences, with a big shady and fenced backyard back onto the ocean dunes. So however you spend your time - surfing, boating, fishing, walking on the beach, cycling along the spit, or simply sitting out on the dunes with a drink in hand watching the kids building sandcastles, The Purple Place makes for the ideal beach holiday - just the way they used to be. Originally the Wooli Bakery, The Purple Place preserves the traditional Australian beach cottage experience, with period features and style, but renovated with all the modern comforts to make your stay as relaxing and memorable as possible. The cottage has 3 large bedrooms: - Master bedroom has 1 queen bed, dresser and wardrobe. - Kids room adjoins the Master bedroom and has 1 set of king single bunks and a single bed. - The sleep out is a large, separate room with Queen size bed and living area, ideal for older children or another couple. While the cottage enjoys a shady yard and sea breezes, all rooms have ceiling fans, and the kitchen and lounge have a reverse cycle air conditioner. The bathroom is huge, with the original cast-iron tub, and family sized washer and dryer. There's a big BBQ on the back porch and a great ironbark bench for entertaining in the garden, or sling the hammock up for those quiet, lazy moments alone.
