A beautifully presented Victorian villa with housekeeping, superbly situated in a charming conservation area on a quiet residential cul-de-sac. Within a short walk of historic Kingston town centre offering a very comfortable base for a self-catered holiday. Ideal for exploring London and surrounding countryside. This high ceilinged property has a large, bright and airy open plan living area with a generous sized dining table comfortably seating 6-8 , a fully fitted modern kitchen and a separate TV room with flat screen TV. This accommodation further comprises a queen sized master bedroom with shower, two further lovely bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom with power shower, cellar utility and a private garden for al-fresco afternoon teas.

Historic Hampton Court Palace with flower shows every July and Ham house. Close to Wimbledon Tennis. Kew gardens, royal parks and leafy footpaths along the river Thames. All just a hop away. For the young at heart there is Chessington World of Adventure, Thorpe Park and Legoland.

Additional information about rental rates

  • NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion.
    Rental includes housekeeping, if required (except weekends and public holidays)
    Discounts for couples, singles, and seniors (50+) in low season.
    Refundable breakages deposit of £350 required with final payment - fully refundable within 2 weeks of departure. After deductions for any excessive/specialist cleaning or breakage, phone calls and drinks/snacks and food from honesty larder.
    Payment by bank transfer in pounds.
    Although the house can sleep a maximum of 6 - There may be an additional charge for more than 4 people.
  • Terms and conditions for bookings and payments:

    PRICING AND PAYMENT
    The prices are quoted, and must be paid, in UK pounds sterling. Rates are based on 7 nights stay and include all taxes and services except certain telephone usage and use of honesty larder.

    PAYMENT METHODS
    A 50% deposit is required to make a confirmed booking. For bookings in excess of four weeks, the deposit required will be equivalent of one week's rent. The balance is due and payable no later than 28 days prior to date of arrival. Should the arrival date be less than 28 days from the booking date then full payment is required to secure a booking.
    BANK TRANSFER
    Payment is via a Bank transfer, the customer being responsible for any bank fees incurred.
    Please request our bank details when making a reservation.
  • BREAKAGE DEPOSIT
    An additional refundable breakage deposit is required with the final payment for protection against unforeseen damage or excessive/specialist cleaning to the property and/or contents. To be refunded within two weeks of departure date (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

    CANCELLATION
    If cancellation occurs before the full payment has been collected the deposit is refunded less a £70 administration charge. Should cancellation occur within 28 days of arrival, refund is normally subject to re-letting of the property for the said period.

    CHECKING IN AND OUT
    In most cases, Check in is after 3.30 pm and Check out is before 10.30 am.

    KEY COLLECTION
    We do not have a 24-hour check in facility so require guests arrival and departure details, in order to organize key collection/drop.

    £75 charge will be applied in the event of loss of house keys and security fob.

Further details indoors: Being a typical Victorian London house it has narrow and steep stairs between different floors so is probably not suitable for very small children or the infirm. A welcome basket. An honesty larder with drinks, snacks and a small selection of wholesome ready -to cook frozen meals charged at cost, to help you settle in. Playstation Two with a few games. Awesome Hi-Fi speakers for ipods

We had a wonderful stay in this fully equipped Kingston villa. The location is perfect for all modes of transportation including a Thames boat ride that leaves from a dock near John Lewis. Housekeeping was wonderful, the owner, Umi, is extremely responsive and efficient, and we didn't have any problems with our stay. The house is immaculate, linens are of extremely high quality, and the kitchen has everything you might need or desire. We recommend this home to anyone looking to be in this part of London.

Outstanding Service

My family and I stayed at this property for our first trip to London and the U.K. When we arrived, the house was very clean, well stocked and well equipped. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well equipped with fine toiletries and linens. The front room was stocked with a great selection of books and video games for our kids. The location is a bit outside the city, but we enjoyed the quaint neighborhood. In addition, the owner provided a great selection of foods, fresh fruit, snacks, milk and juices. We found that there was a great selection of cooking utensils for preparing meals. The fireplace was very warm and cozy. My wife and I found it perfect for late night reading. The pub around the corner was great for a pint and some boardgames with our kids.

As a point of interest, Kingston is the area where the great musician Eric Clapton grew up. I discovered this while reading his biography on our vacation there.

The owner was very quick and efficient in communication.
There were no problems with any of the monetary transactions for the rental period.

A lovely place to stay

We had a great week in this house. We've recently moved to North Kingston and had to be elsewhere whilst an unforeseen problem with our central heating and hot water was sorted out. Minerva Road was a very lovely elsewhere for our family to be. Everything you could want has been thought of and anticipated. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds very comfortable, the showers hot and powerful and the real fires a true delight. A real home from home. You're very central to Kingston and its shops and can walk/ bus or train to wherever you need to go. The owner is very easy to communicate with via email and helpful and friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer!
