This luxury apartment (approx. 62 m²) is situated at the end of a private drive in the new, exclusive bungalow housing estate “San Francisco” at the upper town end between Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago. Fantastic view of the coastline, the sea and the island of Gomera. Paradise on earth for your guests! A 25 m² protected, green southwest terrace with sun in winter from about 10 a.m. to sunset is available. Large living room with dining table and separate lounge. Digital satellite TV and stereo. Open luxury exotic woods fitted kitchen with granite worktops, ceramic stove top, oven with grill function, microwave, deep-fry-machine, coffee machine and thermos flask. A washing machine is installed at the back terrace. The bathroom has a tub with shower separation, toilet and bidet. 2 separate bedrooms have big built-in closets and each 2 beds with latex mattresses. There are roller blinds behind the window. From the terrace at the bedroom it is only a few steps to the swimming pool.

At the west coast, in the protected bay of “Acantilados de Los Gigantes“ the holiday resorts that are accreted by now Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago are situated. Los Gigantes is a quiet place with around 4000 inhabitants, away from the main street and without passing traffic. It lies directly at the 450 m off-peak coast – one of the world’s three largest steep coasts! The location features a small marina with a cosy seaside restaurant and pub scene, as well as a local market place with a church. It is surrounded by small shops, restaurants, pubs and boutiques, as well as some supermarkets. From the harbour excursion boats depart several times a day for whale and dolphin watching off the coast and also for open sea fishing. Between Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago the pretty bungalow estate San Francisco is situated on 185 m with restaurant, supermarket, dentist, health food shop and tennis court.

Golf: Los Gigantes is an ideal location for golfing! In short distance of 12 km, 25 km resp. 35 km drives you reach international norm golf in San Juan (new!), Adeje, Amarilla-Golf and Golf del Sur.

Schöne Wohnung am Rand von Los Gigantes

Wir haben Anfang März eine Woche in dem schönen Apartment verbringen dürfen, das an einem Hang über Los Gigantes liegt.
Die Ferienwohnung verfügt über eine gute Größe. Wir waren mit drei Personen dort und es war definitiv genug Platz da. Über ein Tor kommt man von der Straße aus auf die große und blickgeschützte Terasse, die sehr schön bepflanzt ist und von der man auf das Meer blicken kann. Da die Wohnung am Ende der Straße am Wendehammer liegt, gibt es keinen Durchgangsverkehr.
Hinter der Terasse liegt das Wohnzimmer mit der wirklich gut eingerichteten Küche (ein Dosenöffner wäre noch schön gewesen) und ein Flur, von dem das Bad sowie zwei Schlafzimmer mit großen Wandschränken abgehen. Von einem der Schlafzimmer erreicht man noch eine kleine rückwärtige Terasse (zum Innenhof der Anlage hin), wo auch die Waschmaschine steht. Von hier aus gelangt man auch zum Pool. Dieser war nicht beheizt und daher im März etwas frisch, um darin zu schwimmen. Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr schön und gepflegt. Supermarkt ist 5 Gehminuten entfernt und mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten in Los Gigantes. Auch als Ausgangsort für Ausflüge ins Teno-Gebirge oder an den Teide liegt die Wohnung recht günstig (jeweils ca. 1 Stunde Fahrt). Uns hat die Wohnung sehr gut gefallen und wir würden wieder dorthin fahren. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr viele Informationen zur Verfügung gestellt (Danke nochmal für den Tipp mit dem Mietauto).
