Self Catering Apartment -Sleeps up to 4 people.

The Apartment is part of a Victorian house situated in Brockley within minutes of Greenwich, London Bridge and Tower Bridge. The property features 3 large rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, the garden of the main house and a bathroom with a bath/shower and toilet. The property is positioned between 2 local train stations, 7 minutes walk, which provide direct services into both London Victoria & London Bridge and Charing Cross; journey times are from 8 minutes. The underground station is 5 minutes' walk in zone 2. Brighton is an hour away. Gatwick is an hour away. Greenwich & the O2 can be reached in 20 minutes by bus . Several London buses serves the area in all directions .Hop on and off one of those with a daily travel card or oyster card would have you cover all central and greater London tourist attractions in a day or two . The owners live next door and are on hand to deal with any queries. Linen and towels provided.

La casa consta di salotto,stanza da letto,corridoio,cucina,bagno e seconda stanza da letto(in ordine progressivo). Per entrare in casa ci sono ben due porte di sicurezza con codice da digitare. La prima porta serve ad entrare nell'androne che separa la vostra casa da quella del propietario e poi c'è la seconda porta con codice per entrare nella casa. Il salotto ha un pc con internet,una televisione,un tavolo pieghevole con sedie all'interno,due divani comodi e inoltre una grande finestra che affaccia sulla strada.

La camera da letto principale ha una luce regolabile così da creare un'atmosfera romantica e ha un letto comodo e spazioso. La cucina ha una porta che va sul giardino ed è dotata davvero di tutti gli utensili e gli elettrodomestici,come da descrizione.

Il bagno è l'unica nota un pò negativa,è piccolo ed è piccolo pure il lavandino,ma con un pò di organizzazione non troverete problemi.

La seconda camera da letto di grandezza media disponde del secondo pc con internet e del letto matrimoniale morbido. Per quanto riguarda il quartiere è davvero tranquillo e vi consiglio il fast food vicino casa,c'è Ismail che è molto simpatico e se gli sarete simpatici vi farà delle piccole aggiunte su ciò che ordinate :) Bhè che dire del padrone è veramente una persona stupenda,è disponibile,gentile,molto simpatico ed è un mago del computer..Tutti i vostri dubbi esponeteli a lui e vi sarà di aiuto( fatevi spiegare dov'è Primark :D ). Riguardo la metro,questa è a 200 metri da casa e per arrivare al centro di Londra ci mettete massimo 15 minuti,anche meno...La strada più veloce è quella con l'overground. Il mio voto è di 5/5 ci siamo trovati veramente benissimo in quattro persone , la consiglio vivamente,non ve ne pentirete..

It also has a good mix of basic shops along with new cafes and restaurants where one could eat delicious food at a reasonable price; or if you prefer eating at home you could either order a Chinese or Indian takeaway or shop for groceries at the local supermarket and cook your own meal. Additionally, the nearby areas of Greenwich and London Bridge will offer much more to explore.

Enjoyable Experience

We were a group of six people and a baby who stayed at this apartment and I can say that our expericnce was very enjoyable. Edem was really friendly and supportive. The apartment has all the basic things required for a short stay. The best part being - free internet(24 hours) - you can find out ways to reach your destination/tourists attractions/times/trains/local stores/other routes, proximity to the local store NISA - just 5 mins walk ( you get all of the food items there !) , proximity to Brockley Station(just next to NISA). The apartment is in Zone 2 in London and since most of the tourist attractions are in Zone1, there's not much travelling involved and thus Travel Cards/Day tickets are cheaper.

Pros:
- Good Connectivity to Central London
- All basic amenities
- Very good value for money
- Friendly host
- Free Internet
- Proximity to Daily Needs stores/Station

Cons:
- Bathroom door and bed :)

Lovely place handy for London

My husband, son & I just arrived home after a 6 day stay at this Brockley apartment. You would be hard put to find a better value place to stay so close to the city. The apartment was more than big enough for the 3 of us. Comfortable beds, all mod cons and extremely quiet. It's just a short walk to Brockley station and there are a couple of supermarkets close by. The pub, Brockley Barge, is a friendly place with good food and it's handy to stop in for dinner on your way back from a day's sightseeing.

Our host was delightful. Good correspondence when booking and great tips about things to do. (The Thames Clipper was a real treat - thanks K.A.). The apartment has a computer so we could check out routes, opening times etc as well as keeping up with news from home. Great for people who don't travel with all the latest technological gadgets.

So glad we stayed here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Three stars, because of a nice owner

We have just been in the apartment and give it three stars. The Owner did give us a realy good service, and they were very nice. The pictures on the internet are very different, for the apartment, and behaps the owner shall take some new pictures.

London is a lovely town, very big with a lots of people :-), because we
came from a little town in Denmark. There are a lot of attractions, and activities, and with the underground, it's very easy to travel in London

Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié l'excellent accueil, la proximité des transports et la rapidité pour se rendre au cœur de Londres, et l'équipement de l'appartement (y compris avec ordinateur - internet et Wifi). Très bon rapport qualité, prestations, prix.

Pour 5, l'appartement est spacieux et confortable. Dommage que le lit dans la pièce à vivre prenne trop de place.

Nous recommandons tout particulièrement cette location que nous relouerons lors d'un prochain séjour.
