The Room is part of a Victorian house situated in Brockley within minutes of Greenwich, London Bridge and Tower Bridge. The property 's usable area features a large bedroom with a fireplace, dining table and chairs and sofa bed or bed, a kitchen which overlooks the garden of the main house and a bathroom with a bath/shower and a separate toilet. The property is positioned between 2 local train stations, 7 minutes walk, which provide direct services into both London Victoria & London Bridge and Charing Cross; journey times are from 8 minutes. Brighton is an hour away. Gatwick is an hour away. Greenwich & the O2 can be reached in 20 minutes by bus . Several London buses serves the area in all directions .Hop on and off one of those with a daily travel card or oyster card would have you cover all central and greater London tourist attractions in a day or two . The owners live next door and are on hand to deal with any queries. Linen and towels provided.

Greenwich is 20 mn bus ride and London bridge 8 mn by trains. Brockley, SE4, is part of the London borough of Lewisham and borders on to Lewisham and Forest Hill and has a fast rail link to central London. It also has a good mix of basic shops along with new cafes and restaurants where one could eat delicious food at a reasonable price; or if you prefer eating at home you could either order a Chinese or Indian takeaway or shop for groceries at the local supermarket and cook your own meal. Additionally, the nearby areas of Greenwich and London Bridge will offer much more to explore.

A stay in the garden of "Eden"

We (for young adults from Germany) stayed in the appartment for six days and we were totally impressed by the hospitality of the owner. He was a really outgoing person that helped us a lot with his local knowledge. It´s a nice, clean appartment in a calm area. It´s truly only 15 or 20 minutes to the city center of London if you know the best way. If not, ask the owner, because it can take you a quite long time.

We would highly recommend this accommodation because we were completely satisfied.

Great stay !

Quiet area outside the centre (so much cheaper than central London) but so close to it by train (7 minutes, several services per hour) or bus, without interchange ! All facilities available to make your life easy during your stay. And, last but not least, the owner is such an easy-going and kind person. I am impressed ! We will be back, surely.
