You are only a stone's throw away from the Palau de la Musica Catalana, the fabulous new market 'Mercat Santa Caterina' as well as a few minutes walk from the Picasso museum and Cathedral. Within minutes you can be walking into the shopping district of the city on Av. Portal de L’Angel, Placa de Catalunya and La Ramblas.

Authentic Barcelona Living!

When we arrived it felt very authentic, cozy and at only one flight up on the second floor, an easy walk with your bags in tow.
Downstairs is a great little market with all the essentials of wine, coffee and anything else you may need. Tucked in the center of a thriving local
neighborhood, you instantly feel like a local hiding from all the tourists. We found than in every concievable direction were all the sights in easy walking distant. At night when coming home it can be easy to get off track so get to know your cross streets, as these are not avenues for cars, but old small streets built before cars were even invented. The only traffic in front of the house is walking traffic. It is a great little apartment and we recommend it to anyone.

1) Excellent communication with owner & colleague 2) Spotlessly clean 3) Comfortable beds, furniture etc. 4) Everything you'd need - and more - for self catering: washing machine/dryer/microwave/cooker/large fridge-freezer/central heating/plentiful hot water/excellent shower 4) Supermarket underneath flat 5) Flat on first floor so no great climb up stairs...

BUT THE MAIN THING IS THE LOCATION!!

Literally MINUTES walk away from Metro, catherdral, Placa Catalunya etc.

Try finding accomodation like this in a similar location in London!!

Location, location, location............

Very central and quet appartment. App. 150 m. to the the nearest metro station. We were very happy with the appartment exept the smell from the toilet and the dirty sofa.
When we couldn't turn up the centralheat, Montse (the contact person)
fixed the problem within 20-30 minutes! Excelent!
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car
Owner's Response: We are sorry to hear the toilet was smelly and the dirty sofa, both fixed happy to say and no further problems. Fixed in January 2011, this comment written in May 2011 with no further problems reported. :-)

Had a great stay here. Very central for walking around the old part of Barcelona. Clean and restful place. Felt like it was a real apartment. Easy to contact owner and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a true experience of Spain.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
