    A returnable £100 security deposit (to be paid with your balance - 8 weeks prior to your holiday) will secure all keys and will be returned in full within 21days of your departure date if no damage/loss has occurred.

    From date of booking until 8 weeks before arrival - 50% plus deposit.

Notes: Electric, water, air con costs, bed linen, towels, cleaning of the villa & pool maintenance are included in the price. Internet extra charge. Cleaning & maintenance is normally done on change-over day & one other day during the week. Marians is a NO SMOKING villa (although ashtrays are provided on the terraces for OUTDOOR use only). Please note - running & diving is forbidden at the swimming pool & children must be supervised all the time. ‘Marians’ is not suitable for children under age 10 - sorry. There are a few steps from the road into the grounds of the villa, up to the main entrance, from one of the terraces to the pool area & obviously to the upstairs of the property. Wheelchair access is limited. However, guests who have limited walking ability and are able to negotiate steps may be OK - please ask for information. A poolside shower is fitted. Sun loungers, umbrellas, tables & chairs are provided for your use. A small portable charcoal BBQ is also assembled for your use.

WALKING, CYCLING and GOLF: Almyrida is the perfect base for both walkers and cyclists with many beautiful and interesting places to see around the immediate and surrounding area. The one golf course on Crete is near Heraklion (approx 2 hours drive from the villa).

CHANGE-OVER DAY: Normal changeover day is Tuesday in line with UK charter flights. However, out of high season, we may consider other days of the week. To enable us to maintain our high standards of house-keeping we suggest arrival time at the villa 4pm and departure time 10am - although, depending on bookings, these times may be flexible.

GUEST COMMENTS: A peaceful and ideal place to explore W Crete. You've thought of everything. Thanks for the instructions to the Villa which got us there easily although the roads take a bit of getting used to! Samaria Gorge was fantastic and more spectacular than remembered. You've loads of different sitting places/balconies to choose from which is really nice-you can follow the sun/shade as you wish. The White mountains views from your house are really great.' May 07. 'Thank you for the use of the villa last week. We had a lovely time and enjoyed being in Almyrida again. We shall certainly be recommending the villa to everyone we know, thanks again.' June 07. 'Probably the best holiday ever!' Aug 07. 'What a wonderful time we had. The villa was even better than it seemed in the pictures. The views were simply breathtaking. The holiday home (Marians in Almyrida) was a very nice holiday villa. It was close to the beach and village with all facilities needed for a good vaccation. We rented both cars, moped and bikes in the village and had a good look around. The villa and the surroundings helped us to get the best holiday ever. We can strongly reccommend hiring Villa Marians to anyone.
