This was the perfect cottage, historic with tons of charm and character with all the amenities we needed, beautiful waterfront, a porch to die for, lots of room with 2 full bathrooms, one of which was in the loft so my four teenage boys had there own space while we had our own bedroom and bathroom, plus a great location on the lake with easy access to Hammondsport, the Windmill, Penn Yann amongst many other things. The little extras such as lots of towel hangers in the bathroom, and plenty of holding areas for your stuff, and a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful grill, and plenty of seating options on the beautiful waterfront porch. We also appreciated the fire ring that was right by the lake so we could see the ring of fire. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The owner is very nice and very helpful with information about area activities too!! Great vacation!
