Enjoy the full Hamptons experience just 90 minutes from NYC. The Hamlet of Remsenburg is rich in history, culture and Hamptons lifestyle. Our home is a family retreat on over an acre of property. Outside there is a huge deck including a covered dining area and a second floor providing open views of Moriches Bay and Dune Road beyond all overlooking 20x40 heated gunite pool. There is a 180+ foot bulkhead lined by Adirondack chairs on a canal that leads directly out to Moriches Bay. The backyard is southwest facing to enjoy the afternoon sun and sunsets. There is a shaded awning covering second floor deck. The outside includes an excess of furniture including large table with 8 chairs, 7 Adirondack chairs, rocking glider, 4 chaise lounges, sectional and large outdoor gas grill. Inside the home provides an open concept layout with 50 feet of new glass doors providing panoramic views outside. There are two oversized family rooms. One is 2 story with 55' LCD, surround sound, and wall to wall bookshelves with a huge selection of books and boardgames. The other is a media room with theater seating and another 55' LCD and surround sound, with an adjacent 8' pool table. There are 5 bedrooms three of which are master size, three of which have private bathrooms. One master has a king size bed, the other two have queen size beds. There is a queen bed in one of the other bedrooms, and the last has two single beds. There is an enormous brand new granite laden gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, gas Viking cooktop, an over sized island and giant table that seats 10. The entire house is warmly furnished with hardwood throughout and central air. This house was specifically bought to be a family retreat for our extended family that we have enjoyed for the past four years as we fully renovated it. We are only looking to rent to extended families who will treat our house like their own, and are only interested in rentals of ONE WEEK MINIMUM running from Sunday 4 pm to Sunday 10 am.

We were raised on Long Island and both our children were born there before we relocated first to Toronto and then to suburban Philadelphia. My son and I are avid golfers and this house is situated right in the middle of fantastic courses both east and west. My wife is a vintage collectibles dealer and the area is full of treasures. We all love the water and having this house with oversized deck, pool, and on a canal that leads into Moriches Bay has allowed us to have all our water sports at play. Our entire family loves to travel to see new places, and even more importantly just to be together and relax. With all this house has to offer we can do just that at the house, and if we want to catch a movie, shop or go to a restaurant the village of Westhampton Beach is 7 minutes away, and Dune Road full of beaches is another 5 minutes.

We wanted to return to our roots on Long Island yet be away in a place that would serve as a retreat, not just for our immediate family but serve our extended family. Between us we have a brother and two sisters in Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk counties , with husbands, wives and their 6 children both adult age and young. We wanted a place where all could let their hair down, close enough for all to conveniently get to, and far enough away that all could truly relax and do what each wants to do. This place offers just that.
Beyond being on the water and close to beaches, shopping, theaters and restaurants, the house is on a quiet street in a residential setting in a charming neighborhood that offers everything from quiet strolls to scenic bike rides, and everything in between. Every weekend in the Hamptons offers summer concerts and a full array of events, and the award winning Long Island wineries are within comfortable driving distance.
From the very beginning Donna and Jim were a pleasure to work with and their house is great! We had two families in this house (4 adults and 4 kids) and there was plenty of room. We spent the days in the pool and at night the kids went fishing on the canal and watched movies in the movie room.
The kitchen is huge and it was great to be able to fit both families around the dinner table each night. We loved our stay and would recommend this house to anyone!
