Come relax in our beautiful vacation home. Enjoy the spectacular white water ocean and beach views from the deck or cozy living room. This newly decorated beach house comes complete with a fireplace, TVs in both the bedroom and living room, a home theatre system, Cable, Blu-Ray/DVD, wireless Internet and a full kitchen with outdoor infrared deck heaters & BBQ.

This spacious one bedroom cottage with California king-size bed plus a new queen sleeper sofa in the living room will accommodate up to four guests in comfort. Comes complete with washer and dryer, even an outdoor shower to wash away the day's beach sand.

Just steps away is 21st Avenue Beach, one of the most dog friendly beaches in the Santa Cruz. We're located at the corner of beautiful East Cliff Drive and 21st Avenue, mid-way between the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor and Capitola-by-the-Sea. Pets are welcome with advance notice.

We spent a wonderful Christmas week in the cottage and absolutely enjoyed every detail during our stay as in sunny as in rainy days. When we arrived, we found cute Christmas tree decorated with lights that greeted us just at the door and a bottle of nice Chardonnay wine waiting for us in the refrigerator. We found everything we could possibly need in the house. We were pleasantly surprised by the great taste of the owners who perfectly arranged everything - starting with comfortable bed in the bedroom with cozy cottons and ending with the kitchen dishes that were tastefully fitted. All the appliances were new and in great condition - the bath where you can find everything you need, including lots of additional towels, large makeup mirror and hairdryer; the kitchen equipped with good quality dishes and even coffee grinder; the living room with large flat screen TV, cozy couch and two comfortable arm chairs, and wooden fireplace which made our evenings very relaxing. Infrared lamps in the deck kept us warm while we were enjoying the night view of the ocean.
We felt well taken care of when the neighbors told us that they saved a parking space for us and even took our garbage away.
The owners of the cottage were very responsive and helpful. Judy was so nice that prior our arrival she sent me a picture of the deck with her dog on it to help me figure out whether or not my dog will be safe from getting through the gates. We also left the watch in the house and they found them and mailed us just in couple days!
We definitely will be back and will recommend this place to our friends.

Wonderful Relaxing Beach Celebration

My family and I relaxed on the beach to celebrate my daughter's PhD graduation from UCSC in this amazing cottage right on the oceanside. It was delightful, quiet, beautiful and so very relaxing. We watched the sun rise each morning, gazed out at the seascape and settled into our cozy, comfortable cottage in grand style. The house was lovely, beds perfect and we even had a nice bottle of wine waiting in the frig after a long drive over the hill on arrival. We walked on the beach right out our front door each morning and found a perfect coffee shop, Windmill Cafe down the road to have a nice cup of java with the locals, very nice women took good care of us every morning! It was a busy weekend but what a pleasure to come home to this charming home every night and relax, it is in a very quiet and beautiful area in Santa Cruz, away from all the hustle, bustle. Our hosts were so helpful and provided everything we needed, very accessible. I am telling all my friends to stay here if they ever come to Santa Cruz!

We had a great stay at this cottage.
Very nice location and well equiped.
Easy access to a great beach. We even saw some dolphins or whales in the distance.
Easy access to restaurants, also the option to cook your own food since the kitchen is very well equiped, ordering in was also easy.
Listing and photos are accurate. Property is clean and well-maintained.
Owner is very helpful.
I would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives.

I was visiting Santa Cruz in June for my son's graduation from UCSC. I spent a week at this gorgeous cottage. I loved everything about it. The location is perfect - quiet, serene neighborhood the beach just a walk across the road. Very dog friendly. The cottage is perfectly laid out to allow for scenic views from the living room and I loved the sound of the surf. Wonderful amenities - other than to go out to buy groceries and hang out on the beach I felt I never had the cottage. And I would have spent more time there over the summer and into October but it's always booked. So reserve your time way in advance :-) I can't wait to visit again!

The perfect spot for us and our dogs

This home is in a great location, perfectly equipped (even found a coffee grinder and a makeup mirror!) cute, and very comfortable. We all (including our 2 little dogs) loved the front deck, and spent quite a bit of time there. The best part was that we were only steps from the VERY dog friendly beach which we visited multiple times throughout the day. It was so fun to watch our dogs play with all the other dogs. This was a work week for my husband and I as we tried out our new empty nester lifestyle so we brought our computers and managed to get quite a bit of work done using their Wifi access. Of course the beach kept tempting us away though! We went for some fabulous walks out to Capitola and on West Cliff. We hated to leave and can't wait to return.
