Bernisson is a large seven bedroomed, five bathroomed self catering villa that can also be split into two. The old farmhouse is the perfect holiday rental combining a peaceful location with the bonus of being located 2km from the beautiful Bastide town of Monsegur. Which is just inside the borders of the Gironde and close to the Dordogne and the Lot et Garonne, just 15 minutes from the Auto route. 45min from Bergerac Airport and an hour to Bordeaux Airport. Your holiday rental benefits from a large swimming pool with stunning views over the Valley of the Dropt. There are numerous alfresco patio areas where you can sit for a long and lazy, romantic lunch or join together with the rest of your guests for a barbecue. There is also a games room with pool table, table tennis and table football. Your holiday rental is surrounded by the vineyards of Entre deux Mers, and is close to all the famous Bordeaux and Bergerac vineyards. We are close to a number of lakes with man made beaches.

Monsegur town centre is approx. 1 mile away, an half hour leisurely stroll or 2 mins drive will have you in the heart of the town. Duras with its famous Chateau is approx. 6 miles drive or an hours cycle ride. There are lots of beautiful Bastide towns, all with colourful markets, 1 to fill every day of the week, and all within an hours drive. 45 mins drive will get you into the gorgeous old town of Bergerac and a hour to the elegant City of Bordeaux. 1 mins drive to the nearest small supermarket on the outskirts of Monsegur.A 20 minute drive takes you to Fontet, near La Reole, a marina and lake with a man made sandy beach and supervised bathing, large children's play area and cycle trails along the canal and to the River Garonne. A 30 minute drive will take you to Blasimon a fresh water lake with a nice sandy beach, fishing and lots of picnic areas. A 90 minute drive will take you to the famous family friendly beaches of Arcachon and Bicarosse with the chic Lacanau about 2 hours drive.

Notes: The accommodation is very flexible and it is possible to request extra beds in Bedroom 5, there is also a sofa bed in the dining room/lounge with bathroom nearby if you have an over spill of guests. We can provide stair gates, highchairs, cots, travel cots, sterilising equipment and lots of toys, games and books for younger children on request. Securely fenced swimming pool with sun loungers and deck chairs. Logs for the fire and wood burners are at an extra charge. The house benefits from oil central heating.
