What to do in Panarea:
Panarea is the perfect island retreat surrounded by clear blue water and is much favoured by scuba divers and snorkellers.
But on Panarea you also find the site of one of the most important prehistoric settlements – Cultura di Capo Milazzese – on a promontory just above one of the most beautiful bays of the islands – Cala Junco – consisting of lava flows of basalts and dolerits of a closely packed series of hexagonal prisms perpendicular to the upper surface of the flow.
With little rental boats you can enjoy of the beauty of the sea with its crystal-clear waters and its fantastic shores, or in alternative you can choose to go to the sea on the exclusive and private beach of “Villa des Amis”.
