This 5 Star (Tourist Board rated) apartment provides sumptuous accommodation

These luxurious flats are located in an elegant Georgian townhouse, less than a 5 minute walk from central Princes Street and provide a very high standard of accommodation.

The first floor apartment (no. 2) is bi-annually inspected by the Scottish Tourist Board and awarded 5 stars - a world class grading. The flat is superbly equipped with a 43' plasma screen TV and an integrated sound system supplying music to every room in the flat. The 3 large windows overlook the delightful private Queen Street gardens for which a key is provided. This elegant room benefits from a remote controlled gas coal-effect fire and the two large sofas convert into beds should guests be staying over. The modern kitchen has granite worktops and is fully equipped with Siemens washer/dryer, Siemens dishwasher, two Siemens ovens - one with microwave - fridge freezer, waste disposal unit and wall-mounted LCD TV. There is a 3 ring electric induction hob and a large gas ring to choose from. The luxury shower has a ceiling 'drench' head and 4 body jets. The bedroom, situated to the quiet rear of the property, has a fantastic antique 4 poster bed, fitted wardrobes and dressing table. Clock radio, hair dryer, iron and ironing board are provided as is free Wi-Fi.

The ground floor apartment (no 1) has a similarly impressive living room but has the added feature of an early 19th century wall mural. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The stylish bedroom faces the quiet rear of the building. Please note that the bathroom is accessed from the bedroom.

The apartment overlooks the private Queen Street Gardens for which a key is provided. This is a peaceful haven in the middle of the city centre with manicured lawns, mature trees and an array of beautiful flowers and shrubs. There is small lake with an island in the gardens which is reputed to have given Robert Louis Stevenson (who lived on the other side of the gardens when he was a boy) the idea for his book 'Treasure Island'.

Absolutely stunning

This is a truly beautiful apartment.What you see here is what you get.
Everything you need is included and more.
We had not intended eating in the apartment at all but were so taken by it we spent more time there than we thought we would.
I have no hesitation in recommending this property as we intend to return as soon as possible as we can't think of staying anywhere else in Edinburgh now.

Fantastic Base in Beautiful Edinburgh!

We enjoyed a wonderful five nights in this amazing apartment. It couldn't be in a better position for all the sightseeing and eating out. Everything is top quality and feels so comfortable and homely. Francois, the owner, was a real gentleman to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. We are looking forward to revisiting on our next trip back to Auld Reekie.

Fantastic apartment in Edinburgh

We had a fantastic week in this brilliant apartment in Edinburgh. It is in a fantastic location and having access to the private gardens of Queens Park makes it extra special. We loved staying in this apartment and it had everything we could have possibly needed. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Edinburgh and would have no hesitation in recommending it to family & friends!!

Fabulous Flat ~ Terrific Location

We stayed in this magnificent Edinburgh flat for a week in July and everything about it was first class. Francois, our contact person was there to meet us when we arrived rather late on a Monday evening. He explained how to use the well equipted kitchen and washer/dryer; a great feature for a long stay. The totally renovated bath included a rainforest shower and the four posted bed was a dream with the fluffy down comforter. The sofa bed in living room was also very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and linens available. It was a wonderful surprise to find the flat exactly as pictured. Oh, the park across the way was like having our own yard--only well manicured and flower-filled with none of the work!

There were so many great places to eat just a short walk away;` be sure to visit Urban Angle at the end of the block and sit in the little courtyard out back; great coffee drinks and pasteries to dream about--tell David we said hello--he made us feel welcome after our first visit and Urban Angel became a meeting-up place for us when we had gone different direction during the busy days. There is also a super market just a couple blocks away--ask Francois for directions. Plenty of ATM's in area and just a short walk to Scott Monument, Waverly Station, Museums and just a bit further to The Royal Mile. When walking The Royal Mile be sure to eat lunch at The Witchery in the Boswell Close--right outside The Castle--great food and amazing ambience. The Georgian House National Trust Property shows the flat as it would have functioned as part of a large house in the 1800's and is within walking distance. Our living room would have been the ballroom! We were able to get a cab at 3AM just outside the front door to get us to the airport upon our departure. I would definitely stay here again. Stunning is Right

I was so sorry to have to leave this beautiful apartment after only one week, enjoying its style, comfort, and perfect location in Edinburgh. The living room/ dining room couldn't better decorated. What a great place to enjoy breakfast (fixed in the generously supplied kitchen were everything looks new) and to relax after a day seeing one of he best cities in the world. The blue carpet is a wooly lamb under your toes. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is small but workable, and the shower generous----if you drop the soap there's enough room, and more, to pick it up, which I can't say for some European showers I've used.
There are many restaurants in the immediate area, but the kitchen has everything to use for cooking, baking, or warming up take-out.
You will have a key to a private garden across the street. It's like the Secret Garden.
I can't say enough about how much I loved this property in the heart of my favorite city.
