It is a luxury villa in a small elevated development of 12 villas surrounded by olive groves and vineyards on the outskirts of the pretty Istrian village of Tar. The accommodation is of an extremely high standard with remote control central air conditioning/ heating and solid wood flooring throughout. A small landscaped garden benefits from its own built-in gas barbecue, teak furniture for al fresco dining and stunning views towards the Adriatic coast. The shared swimming pool and the all-weather, floodlit tennis court are a few steps away.

There are banks (with ATM facility), several shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance in the village of Tar. The lively resort of Porec is also only a 15-minute drive away. The villa offers full views of the Adriatic coastline and attractive beaches are to be found nearby. The beautiful Medieval hill towns of Motovun and Groznjan, breathtaking Limski Canal and the charming Venetian coastal town of Rovinj are within a short drive, as are a full range of sporting and leisure facilities. The coast and an excellent waterside seafood restaurant is within walking distance of the villa (less than a kilometre away) and several good beaches are within a five minute drive. An information pack is available at the villa. This includes information on the area, recommended restaurants and suggestions for day trips, excursions and activities.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Non-refundable 30 % deposit is required at the time of booking. Booking remains open until deposit money is received. Balance must be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. You should arrange your own cancellation and holiday insurance. Money has to be paid by electronic bank transfer. Credit card payments are not accepted.
  • Villa cleaning and replacement of linen and towels takes place every week and is included in the rental price. More frequent cleaning can be arranged at an additional cost of 12 euros per hour.
  • Changeover is preferably Saturday, but flexible. Check-in: after 4 pm. Check-out: by 10 am.

In the utility room there are a washing machine, iron and ironing board. There are 4 sun loungers and a sun umbrella as well as an artist’s easel. The modern open-plan living area with one 3-seater and one 2-seater leather sofa has a stone fireplace, a dining table with six chairs, satellite TV and a complete home theatre system with surround sound.
