Location, location, location! The beach pavilion, public pool, and Lido Beach Resort with its popular tiki bar and restaurant, are all located just a half-block down our quiet residential street. Famous St. Armand's circle with its eclectic shops and restaurants is a 15-minute stroll through the island's charming paths with waterfront homes. About The Owner

I purchased this 4-unit property in 2011, after a roundabout path through several cities and professions. I live on site in one of the units, and I completely renovated the other 3 units to offer as vacation rentals in this little slice of paradise. It was my dream to live by the beach, hence the name Island Dreams, and I look forward to sharing it all with you! Julie

I visited Sarasota for the first time in 2010, and immediately knew I wanted to make it my home. This charming small city has all of the benefits of a big city - culture, restaurants, events - along with stunning beaches, friendly people and an amazing quality of life. And Lido Key encompases all of that. It has a quiet and laid-back yet sophisticated beach atmosphere, and its proximity to downtown Sarasota can't be beat.

Love Island Dreams!!

This past July I decided to visit some friends on Lido and watch the boat races. I had such a great time. . .and Island Dreams really delivered! Gorgeous property, steps away from the Gulf of Mexico, white sand beaches and half a mile to St Armands Circle. I stayed at The Gulf Breeze unit. I found it to be clean, fresh, and inviting with the amenities I needed. Julie, the owner, was there, with a warm and welcoming smile. I definitely would recommend this rental!!

SUPER kleines sauberes Studio inkl. Internet. Nette hilfsbereite Vermieterin wohnt im gleichen Haus. 2 Min. zum schoenen Sandstrand und 10 Min. zu Fuss zum St.Armand Circle. Ferien auch ohne Auto moeglich. Danke Julie das waren schoene 31 Tage in Deinem Haus. Thank You Julie this place is that special.

Lovely Lido Rental

We loved our stay at Island Dreams. Cozy Cottage was spotless, well-appointed and of course cozy! The king bed was so comfortable and the unit had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. It was also very reassuring to have Julie, the owner, on-site if we had any questions. The washer and dryer were easily accessible and very nice to have. These rentals are a quick half-block walk to beautiful Lido Beach. Julie also provides beach chairs and beach towels to use which was great. St. Armands Circle is an easy ten minute walk. We spent lots of time there shopping and dining. I highly recommend this property!

Great Location and A wonderful owner

This is a great location to Lido beach and is only 1/2 a block away and there are lots of things to do. There is Kayaking withing walking distance of this location. We came from Thompson Station, TN and arrived early on June 2, 2012 although check in wasn't until 3:00 pm I contacted the owner Julie and asked if we could possibly check in early. After a 12 1/2 hr trip we were ready to get settled in. Julie never hesitated and when we arrived she greeted us with a goody bag and let us in. As soon as we seen the COZY COTTAGE we loved it. We loved the fact that Julie was there on site if we needed anything. She also had umbrella's, chair, and all of the beach stuff you needed. There was an outside shower to rinse yourself along with the beach stuff off. I lived in Sarasota, FL for 9 years and was returning for a visit with friends. When I return for another visit I will check Julie's place 1st to see if there is anything available. WE LOVED THIS PLACE! Julie thanks for making our trip easy and fun! We enjoyed staying here and will stay again in the future.

Last minute find. Location! Location! Location! My husband and I have been renting in Florida since 2001 and we found Julie's place to be one of the top 2 and the price was right. Steps to the beautiful gulf beach (best shelling) and sunsets on the west coast. Thank You to Julie and we are looking forward to staying again (thats if its not booked) this place is that special!!!
