Picturesque fishing villages, historic towns and the city of Quimper are all within an easy drive. This area has a wealth of wild life and is perfect for lovers of nature and the outdoors. There are activity parks and many attractions for children both indoor and out. Take a romantic river trip up the Odet or to one of the many islands off the coast, or sample the many delights of the Breton cuisine. Walk or cycle along the stunning coastline on well defined routes. This delightful part of Brittany hosts many traditional festivals and Fez Noz celebrations throughout the summer months, including the Festival of music in Quimper. Take advantage of our babysitting service knowing your children are being safely cared for in the gite by the owner who is a qualified nursery nurse.

Close to Bay Audierne and ports of Douarnenez, Cameret, Concarneau and Benodet. The Bay Audierne with it's miles of white sandy beaches, peaceful sand dunes and fresh water lakes hosts abundant flora and fauna for wild life enthusiasts. For those who enjoy water sports La Torche one of the most famous surfing beaches can be found just a few miutes drive away. Explore the historic towns of Locronon and Quimper. Enjoy the vibrant Thursday market at Pont L'Abbe. The area has many excellent restaurants and bars serving a wide range of menus. Quimper is a beautiful cobbled city filled with cafes and small shops. Visit the museums,art galleries and famous Heniot pottery factory. Explore the wild Pointe du Raz and visitor centre. Plenty of attractions for children including indoor and outdoor leisure parks. The Aquarium at Brest is about a 1 hour drive away.
