These tastefully restored cottages provide a haven of peace and relaxation away from the stresses of today’s hectic lifestyle. Here you will find something to suit everybody young and old, from family holidays to family reunions.Close by are fishing, championship golf courses, horse riding and racing, walking and cycling. If this all sounds too taxing why not try a face or body treatment from our on site therapist. All accommodation has: Geothermal underfloor heating. Oak or marble floors. Fully integrated kitchen with granite worktops. Spacious accommodation with all bedrooms en-suite and some with jacuzzi bath. TV, DVD player, CD player. Baby equipment available free on request. Decoy Country Cottages is idealy located for touring the very many historic sites in Meath and also the wider area with Dublin only 30 miles away. We are very conveniently located between the N2 and N3. We are only 2 miles from Tara, 4 miles from Navan, 7 miles from Newgrange and Slane, 15 miles from Trim and 20 miles from Kells. Newgrange pre-dates both the pyramids and stonehenge and has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site and is definitely not to be missed. Tara was once the seat of the high kings of Ireland and is very important historically as well as having a fantastic coffee shop to visit. Decoy country cottages is surrounded by beautiful parkland golf courses with something to suit all levels of golfer. If golf is not your thing why not try a spot of fishing on the famous Boyne, or try your luck at one of the rqace courses in the area. Fairy house (8 miles) is home to the Irish Grand National and Laytown hosts the only beach races in Europe. Beach 25 mins.
