Situated in a quiet neighbourhood the main feature of this 8 person house is its large garden terrace, traditional oven/grill and outdoor summer kitchen making for wonderful outdoor cooking and dining. Comprising 2 apartments this house is ideal for 2 families wanting to holiday together. The top apartment has 1 twin and 1 double bedroom. The bottom apartment has 2 double bedrooms. Each apartment has its own living room with dining table, kitchen and bathroom. The house is 150m from the beach , and 4 km from the town centre with its shops, cafes and restaurants.

Rogoznica has the charm of a traditional Adriatic village set back in time. Fishing boats still come and go bringing the catch of the day to the local market and restaurants. Thanks to its tranquil atmosphere a visitor will experience peace and relaxation so rare in modern life. Enjoy to the maximum its unspoilt beaches and crystal clear waters under the hot Mediterranean sunshine. Nearby attractions include Milina cave and a nearby lake which is nice for taking walks around. Also Dragon eye, natural phenomena, which is connected with the sea. The medieval World Heritage town of Trogir is well worth a visit, as is Sibenik. For those that enjoy the countryside Krka National Park is just 55 km away. The Diocleans Palace in Split is a fascinating labyrinth of alleyways well worth exploring also.

very relaxing holiday in a beuatiful location

we stayed here for 2 weeks in June 2008 & had a lovely relaxing vacation, the appartments are very spacious although the internal kitchens are quite small but this is more than made up for by the excellent outside grill which we used for almost all of our cooking, The beach was spotlessly clean & the water the most amazing blue / green colour.
The local towns are well worth visiting with excellent restaurants Mario's in Rozignica was very good
We have recomended this property to several friends & having been in contact with are owners who have sent us some up to date photos of the improvements that have been recently made we are planning to return in september 2009 WE CAN NOT WAIT !!!!!!!!

Simple Housing

We rented this house 2 weeks long in August 2008. The downstairs apartment needs to be renovated. The kitchen has got just enough space for one person. The Fridge and water cooker should be changed. The bathroom is old. The toilet leaks at the back. If you are looking for something simple this is the right apartment! The upstairs apartment is newer, has a bigger kitchen. After taking a shower in the bathroom the whole floor is flooded. Here the toilet leaks as well. The parking space is enough for smaller cars. The sea is more than 150 metres away and isn´t what I expected for Croatia (alot of sea weeds and mud on the sea floor). We drove to Dolac where we found our dream beach! The Grill is huge and we enjoyed sitting outside.
If your expectations aren´t high than you can rent this house.
Owner's Response: We are sorry this guest was disappointed with their stay. We rent the house as a whole and it has the benefit of 2 kitchens plus the large outdoor "summer kitchen" and grill so although the lower apartment kitchen is small and old a larger more modern one is available in the upper apartment. The leaks in the bathroom we sorted as soon as the guest reported them and some renovations and new purchases will be made over the winter. The nearest beach to the house has seaweed but our other guests prefer to use the one a 300m walk away. It's made of small stones and is great for families, has a slide into the water plus a giant rubber swimming ring for children to dive from and has a dedicated swimming area.
