A delightfully presented and nicely furnished 4 bedroom modern type terraced house.

The ground floor consists of open plan dining/lounge, 1 double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and utility room. The lounge and dining open out onto a very large terrace and garden area. The first floor has one double bedroom, 2 good sized individual bedrooms and one full bathroom. The double bedroom opens onto a terrace, and this in turn has a spiral staircase up to the roof terrace, with marvellous views over the surrounding area, mountains and nearby lake.

The ground terrace leads out to a nice communal pool, and also to the canal and lake area.

It is very close to the wonderful white sandy beach of Alcudia - just 5 minutes walk. Nearby also are cafes, restaurants and shopping - all within a few minutes walk, yet the property is situated in a quiet and pleasant street.

This property has everything!: Spend your holiday in this modern, bright townhouse - in a quiet street position, yet only a 5 minute walk from restaurants, shops and cafes - and most importantly - the beautiful white sandy beach of Alcudia. This end of the beach, known as ' Playas de Muro' is much quieter than the other end near the main port of Alcudia - space to enjoy! A few kilometers down the road ( easy to reach by bus or bicycle) is the Albufera Natural Park - a must for bird watchers, or nature lovers. Most evenings there are panoramic sunsets.

Taking the local bus in the other direction, you come to the port of Alcudia, where there is a boat marina, and a large paseo ( pedestrian area) where you can sit back with a coffee, or glass of wine, and enjoy the vista!

Further along, you come to the old town of Alcudia - charming with it´s 800 yr old Roman walls, winding narrow streets, and many cafes and restaurants, and small individual shops to browse around. Market days are Tuesday and Sunday mornings.

Puerto Alcudia has everything!: Your holiday can be as relaxed and laid back as you like, or action packed - Puerto Alcudia has something for everyone! Relax on the terrace of your lovely holiday townhouse, or lounge by the pool, and then take a dip in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean sea. Perfect location for families with children

This fine townhouse comes strictly as advertised:
- Plenty of space (the four bedrooms are definitely large)
- Close to the beach (even to the quiter parts of it if you take a short walk to the North)
- Ideal for families with children (secured access to the pool, nice garden, sturdy furniture)
- Spottlessly clean
- Very nice owner and manager

We stayed at Casa Yolanda for almost 3 weeks and enjoyed every day. We can fully recommend this property

Great loaction for beach or sports holiday.

This townhouse is ideally located for a holiday in the sun with plenty to roundabout. Its less than a 5 minute walk from a great beach which as pictured has lovely white sand and clear water. Within Port D'Alcudia there are plenty shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk away and a supermarket within about a 10 min walk.Central Alcudia is around 1.5-2miles away. The area itself is a hub for sports enthusiasts and there are loads of bike shops close by (including Didi's Coast Adventure in the same street).The house itself is situated in a block of residential houses rather than holiday homes but is very quiet and still within a tourist area with lots of hotels round about (the nearest being Eden Lago and Hotel Maritimo). The listings, descriptions and pictures are an accurate representation, the house is not luxurious but is clean, spacious, has good facilities and the garden & roof terrace are great for relaxing in. The patio in the garden also has a table and barbecue for dining outside which is ideal in good weather. Overall had a great time there and would return - ideal base for family beach holiday or group of cyclists/ tri-athletes

Being so close to the beach makes it ideal for families, or groups of friends (and sporting enthusiasts!) - not everyone in the group or family might want to spend the same time at the beach as others - so everyone can do their own thing - no car is necessary! No, it is not a luxury house - but this is reflected in the very reasonable rental rates for comfortable accommodation which caters for up to 6 people (and a baby!) Lovely family villa

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Yolanda. It is a very basic villa, but everything you need is provided. The owner and manager were friendly and helpful and sorted out a variety of minor things that we requested. The rooms are simple but adequate and the living space worked well for my family of six. We particularly liked the pool which was always clean and hardly ever used by anyone else. The beach which was closest to the villa (and a 5-7 minute walk) was quite busy, and we were pleased to find a quieter spot about 5 minutes drive from the villa. We also didn't find great eating places locally, but enjoyed visiting local towns in the evenings.
Owner's Response: As the manager for this property, I am pleased that this family enjoyed their holiday at Casa Yolanda. The key factor for this property (a terraced house rather than a villa), is it's space and proximity to the beach.
This is a bright, sunny and modern 4 bedroom house which accommodates a family of 6 very easily at a very reasonable rental rate. The rooms are furnished pleasantly, but without undue fuss. Holidaymakers have ample storage for clothes, and room for their suitcases - decoration is kept to a minimum as excess ornaments etc can tend to give a 'cluttered' look, and not add to the attractiveness of the house. With this in mind, it is a very practical house to stay in - with good sized bedrooms and living area - plus a large terrace and garden area. The owner also leaves a generous supply of bath and beach towels.
Being in a small residential complex of only 8 other houses, the pool, as our reviewers found out, gets very little use - even in the middle of August!
The Alcudia beach is fantastic and very popular - and probably was even more popular this August (2012) due to a 3 week long heatwave which had temperatures soaring into the 40's!
The good thing about Alcudia beach is that it is 12 kms long, so by taking a bus, or a short drive by car, you can easily find a spot which is not so crowded.
The restaurants within walking distance to Casa Yolanda are varied, some very good, and others not so good. Most have a variety of dishes on their menu, but specialize in grill meat - steaks etc. One that is particularly good is 'El Patio' - a 7 - 8 min walk from the house. This is a family run restaurant, and specializes in charcoal grilled meat - cooked outdoors in the eating area. For fish and tapas, the port and marina area is better.
Casa Yolanda represents good value for money, and is an excellent family base from which to enjoy the wonderful resort of Puerto Alcudia!

The house is just like the photos. A good size and well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. Air conditioning was very welcome as temp went up to 40. A quiet residential group of properties - no noise in evenings. Yet behind two large hotels and only minutes to the beach. There is no real need for a car once you are there as everything you need is within 10 mins walk and there are plenty of buses and taxis. Highlight of our holiday was eating in Alcudia old town at Sa Placa. Tennis at the local club (just beyond Eden Lago) for E10 on clay courts. Mini golf at Belle Vue complex recommended and cheap.

House description says only TV - this is correct and it is only Spanish local.

No negatives except the ants - if you see any, spray them straight away.

Our teenagers found enough to do in the local area, although there are not many discos/clubs - atmosphere family orientated. However, the Belle Vue/ Ave Reus area is "louder" and close by.

I would recommend to families.

The Majorcan Dream

Our family rentet the property for two weeks in june/july. I would really recommend it if you want a calm, nice holiday in the true Majorcan style. The neighbours were really nice and quiet. The pool was great for both small children and adults. Only a 3 minutes walk to the beach and two minutes to the nearest shop or pub. The house was large with 4 bedrooms, a good kitchen, large livingroom and great place for realxing outside. And airconditioning saved our lives in a HOT summer of 09 :) Parking was also good with a private parking right outside our front door. I truely recommend it and I will rent this property again.

The main attraction of Puerto Alcudia is the 12 km long beautiful white sandy beach, and it is only a 5 minute walk from this lovely house. Just behind the property, with access from the communal swimming pool, is a river canal which leads into the lake, called Estany Gran. Here you can go water skiing, or fishing! There is also shopping, restaurants and cafes nearby, while the main port and marina of Alcudia are about 5 kms away, connected with a regular bus service. In the other direction, towards Ca´n Picafort, there is the Albufera Natural Park, great for bird watchers and nature lovers alike - and don´t forget your camera for the spectacular sunsets!

Alcudia old town is also well worth a visit, just 2 kms from the Port of Alcudia. Small streets wind behind 800 yr old Roman stone walls, there are many small interesting shops, restaurants and cafes, and a bustling market day every Tuesday and Sunday. Puerto Alcudia is a great family holiday resort, with something for everyone!

As there is also a bathroom on the ground floor, this could be suitable for an elderly person, or someone confined to a wheelchair. Bedroom 2 is on the first floor, bright and airy,and has a double bed, and a cot, plus a built in wardrobe and a dressing table. Off this bedroom is a terrace with a small table and chairs. This terrace has a spiral staircase leading to the roof terrace, with lovely views out over the mountains and lake. The communal pool is 9 x 5 cms and is 1.75 mt deep. The property is securely fenced, with a gate opening on to the path which leads to the communal pool. This gate can be locked with a key, making it very safe for small children. The terrace has a wooden terrace table with seating for 6. There are 4 sun loungers, which may be taken to the pool area for sunbathing. The terrace and pool area receive all day sun. There is air conditioning in the dining/living room area, and in the landing area at the top of the stairs for the bedrooms upstairs.
