This end of the beach, known as ' Playas de Muro' is much quieter than the other end near the main port of Alcudia - space to enjoy! A few kilometers down the road ( easy to reach by bus or bicycle) is the Albufera Natural Park - a must for bird watchers, or nature lovers. Most evenings there are panoramic sunsets.
Taking the local bus in the other direction, you come to the port of Alcudia, where there is a boat marina, and a large paseo ( pedestrian area) where you can sit back with a coffee, or glass of wine, and enjoy the vista!
Further along, you come to the old town of Alcudia - charming with it´s 800 yr old Roman walls, winding narrow streets, and many cafes and restaurants, and small individual shops to browse around. Market days are Tuesday and Sunday mornings.
