Peaceful luxury!

My husband and I booked 6 nights over October half term in this lovely apartment. The weather was perfect blue skies, sunshine and 28C everyday. The proximity to Larnaca aiport was excellent, only 15 - 20mins drive away and the directions proved accurate (it would be useful to mention where the Carrefour supermarket is - for shopping before arriving at the apartment) as we had to go back into Kiti village, after we unpacked, to find a shop for basics for breakfast.
The apartment is very large, especially as we were only a couple - but the large kingsize bed, plenty of storage space for clothes and a bathroom each were much appreciated. The kitchen is massive and has a breakfast bar and the lounge/kitchen/diner has patio doors to a balcony, where you can have breakfast or relax in the sun with a book or glass of wine.
We did try the pool and jacuzzi one day but they were both too cold for us :-( however we had gone to the area to explore, not sunbathe or swim so this wasn't a problem
There is no 'guide' to the area in the apartment, which would have proved useful, so we had to do our own exploring. Luckily the guys at Budget car hire had given us a couple of recommendations for nearby restaurants in the village of Pervolia - about 10 mins drive away. This is a lovely village with lots of good places to eat - I would particularly recommend Soutsos, which had live music on all 3 occasions we ate there & also gave us free desserts and coffees!
The apartment is situated ina block amongst quite a few other blocks, but was fairly peaceful at that time of the year although we did hear a plane at 4;45am one morning, but this wasnt a problem.
We investigated many parts of the locality, using the excellent motorway; to the Troodos mountains, then east of Larnaca to a lovely deserted beach at Potamos where we ate our Greek salad & feta cheese and down to Cape Kiti to the lighthouse.
Overall we had a fabulous week and I would definitely stay at the apartment again although I would add that a car is a necessity (but the Cypriots drive on the left so its no problem!

Owner's Response: Thank you very much for your review, and I am so glad that you enjoyed your week at our apartment. Our apartment is one of four blocks that make up Green Valley, but at least they only have 2 floors so are quite small. They are located opposite a 5 star luxury spa resort which I believe you can visit as a paying outside guest if you wish. Pervolia is beautiful I agree - we used to go down there most evenings to eat. I will have to work on getting a useful guide together next year of places to visit and explore.
