Day-long sunshine in this lovely south-facing triplex with ample outside space for romantic dining, family barbecues, sunbathing and child's play. The peaceful Mediterranean roof garden (40 sq m) has a pretty pergola for shade, lights for night dining, palms & an olive tree, as well as a sea view. There is also a sunny, leafy 20-metre terrace off the living room. Beautifully furnished in Modernist (Spanish 1920s Art Nouveau) and contemporary styles. Artwork is by contemporary Spanish artists & photographers. A 5-10 minute stroll to the beach through quiet streets. Local shopping (100 m. to supermarket, baker's, veg, deli) is excellent. Just outside the door to the flat are a leafy children's playground and two quiet café terraces (which shut at nightfall.) A new indoor pool (with warm children's / baby pool) is just 200 m. away. Just 5 mins walk to the rail station, Barcelona (30 mins away by train) is an easy day-trip. Perfect for families, couples and small groups.

Sitges has a dozen beautiful beaches and the typical vibrant night-life (gay & straight) of a resort. But it also has a privileged place in Catalan culture. For generations it was the chosen getaway for Barcelona's bourgeoisie and this can still be seen in some of the lovely architecture. Many water sports are available in Sitges. The unique national park (with protected wildlife and plant life) borders Sitges from the North and West and is reached in 3 mins by car. Highly recommended for stunning walks & hikes in the hills. Barcelona is only 30 mins away by the excellent train service (4 trains an hour). The city offers museums, galleries, restaurants, cinemas, cutting-edge design & shopping, zoo, aquarium & concerts. The 2 theme parks Port Aventura and Aqualeon (a water & safari park) are under an hour from Sitges. Eating out is varied - there is Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese and English. SItges is perfect for families, romantic breaks or cultural visits.

Lovely apartment in a handy location

This really is a fantastic base from which is see Sitges and launch trips into Barcelona!

We found ourselves surprised by the size and location of the property, being just a short walk down the hill to the train station and the nicest side of Sitges.
The two terraces are lovely, getting the sun all day, and with the apartment being split over 3 floors, very spacious and comfortable inside.

The owner Audrey is very friendly and helpful, and lives just a couple of minutes away, so is always available should the need arise for help or advice. She has provided a handy folder with useful tips on restaurants, beaches and travelling tips.

I would certainly recommend the property and location to my friends!

A home away from home

I had a lovely time here in October. The description of the apartment is accurate but the photos do not do it justice. I suppose its hard to capture in a photograph that sense of warmth only found in a place one considers a home away from home. I loved this apartment and I will return again soon.

The location is excellent, quiet yet minutes from the bars and shops in the centre of Sitges. It is also a good base for day trips to Barcelona or further afield. Having said that you could spend your entire holiday in this beautifully furnished apartment as the views are fantastic and the facilities are excellent.

The owner Audrey lives nearby and was there to give us a warm welcome the evening we arrived. A big thank you should go to her for her thoughtfulness and kindness. The house folder containing information on local eateries etc. was very useful and the fresh flowers in the lounge was a lovely touch.

This place is great if you just want to get away to do some reading or writing. It is also ideal for those who have children of any age. I have already recommended this property to my friends.

we stayed in this appartment from 1st to 15th august 09. The appartement is just like described, and it is located in a local area. When you know how crawded Sitges can be in the summer, we appreciated this quiet location. The top terrace is great for BBQs and enjoy the freshness of the evening. the decoration is nice, it is very clean, you really feel like home.
the owner Audrey is very helpful and very kind.
We definitly recommand this appartment.

A relaxing week in Stiges

We arrived in Sitges after a staying the week before in Barcelona, we were met by Audrey who was a great source of local knowledge.
As a previous review states the photos do not do justice to the apartment and I will agree with that.
The apartment was well maintained and had everything that you would need
We found the apartment an ideal base to unwind, following our week with all the hustle and bustle in Barcelona.
The railway station is a short walk away, we spent a day out in Tarraggona, Villa Nova and Salou and found the trains easy to use and not badly priced.
A big thank you must go to Audrey, on our our last day we had a very late flight back home, Audrey was very kind to allow us to leave our luggage with her so we could spend our last day in Sitges without the hasstle of having suitcases with us.

Relaxing Stay

We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this apartment the third week of June 2009. We chose it for its location, set in a quiet residential area 5 minutes walk from the train station overlooking the town and seafront. As is usually the case the website photos do not do this place justice.

We had a very warm welcome by the owner, Audrey, who had not only ensured that there were some basics in the cupboards and fridge to get us started but had placed fresh flowers in the lounge to greet us. A great touch. The place was also spotlessly clean.

The rooms are tastefully furnished with both modern and beautiful pieces of antique furniture. Both terraces are marvellous as are the views from them. Our only regret was not using thje upper terrace for a bbq, we were so overwhelmed by the choice and quality of restaurants in the town itself.

Sitges is a lovely place to both relax and party and enjoy the fabulous food. It is also handy for sightseeing with Barcelona only 1/2hr away on the excellent local train service.

We would definately think about returning next year.
