Outstanding Accomodation In a Magical Location

From the moment we arrived we were spellbound by the beauty of Saarburg, and then there was Rococco House's Bel Etage. What a beautifully appointed apartment. Fully self contained, with ample room to relax. Dagmar, who has a shop on the lower level (but does not live in the house), was extremely helpful and made our stay very memorable. In fact, we were greeted with a very tasty breakfast prepared by Dagmar, and fresh croissants every morning. You dont need a car here, the train service (very close) is excellent. Saarburg is like something out of a fairytale. The people here are so friendly. The Rhine river cruises are accessible via train to Koblenz, Luxembourg is only 1 hour away, Metz 1 hour. Whilst in Saarburg, you need to explore the ancient Roman town of Trier, visit the Villeroy & Boch museum and ruined castle in Metlach, and explore Saarburg itself, the castle, waterfall, chairlift, river and so on. If you are coming from Australia, Saarburg is a 3 hour train trip, however, it passes quickly due to the outstanding scenery along the way. We are looking forward to visiting Saarburg again in the near future, and will obviously be staying in Rococco House without a doubt. Superb accomodation in an outstanding location in South West Germany.
