About The Owner

I have been a resident of Puerto Vallarta for over five years and originally hail from Chicago. Having traveled to this part of Mexico since the 80's, moving to Banderas Bay for me had an irresistible pull. I am a real agent with Tropicasa Realty in PV. I sell properties in all locations on the bay. The co-owner of the property lives in Chicago and loves to visit with friends and family.

Why The Owner chose Punta Esmeralda

The north shore of Banderas Bay offers a lifestyle of tranquility without sacrificing the quality of amenities in the area. Our restaurants and clubs rival the quality and excitement found in Puerto Vallarta. The new 400 slip marina in La Cruz serves well the needs of the mariner.

A little further west and north, you can explore Punta de Mita and go surfing in Sayulita. What to see what is new in Vallarta, it's only a half hour away.

What makes this condo unique

When I first saw the plans for Barlovento I was immediately taken by it's fresh, practical and contemporary design. I must say the view is spectacular and all rooms have an ocean view! I love to cook and the kitchen is no lightweight! All of the furniture is very comfortable and it's my home away from home when I don't have guests. Oh well, one can't have everything. The swimming pools are perfect for lounging the day away!

Bucerias Vacation

This is our third visit to Bucerias and by far the best. The apartment is very nice and well appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the staff here at Barlovento is very good as well. We did go out for dinner every evening so didn't make use of the fabulous kitchen as much as some might. We were very convienent to buses, mini-buses or cabs at the front steps so transportation was not a problem. The property managers, Banderas Properties were also very attentive to our needs and kept us informed to happenings here. We would highly recommend the property

What a great place you have! The fantastic views from every room. and the ability to sleep to the sound of the surf are beyond price. We found the location ideal, combining a quite apartment with easy beach walk access to restaurants (10-15 mins) and to Bucerias (30 mins) and with plenty of buses and "combis" just outside for longer trips. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
