Foxglove, a recently refurbished 2 bedroom cottage forming part of the Stancombe Manor barn conversion,lies in a fabulous sunny valley in 21 acres of peaceful countryside at the head of the Salcombe Estuary.Stancombe has its own cider orchard and woodland with some of the buildings dating back to medieval times and listed in the Doomsday Book.There is plenty to do within the grounds with an indoor heated pool,recently resurfaced tennis court,snooker room,games room with table tennis and pool plus a pitch 'n' putt.Downstairs the cottage has a bright and airy room with a comfortable lounge area with a TV,DVD and music system,a dining area with a table seating 6 and a well equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and washing machine.There is also a pull down double bed. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms.One has a double bed, the other 2 single beds.A cot can be arranged if necessary. There is a main bathroom with toilet, large bath and electric shower over.There is an further seperate toilet

Situated near to Sherford in the South Hams, a magnificent stretch of Devon best known for lush rolling countryside, outstanding coastline complete with tremendous sailing waters and beaches galore to suit every taste. Stancombe Manor is a rural setting yet is only 3 miles to the beach at Torcross and within an easy drive to the beaches at Blackpool, Bantham.Bigbury and Thurlestone. The nearest town is Kingsbridge a 15 minute drive away. It is a market town with a cinema, good variety of shops and restaurants, leisure centre, boat trips.Salcombe, Totnes and Dartmouth are within easy reach.It is a walkers paradise with many footpaths and the South Devon coast path very near. Golf courses can be found at Dartmouth, Thurlestone and Bigbury.The South Hams cycle route is very close. Frogmore, approx 2 miles away,has a public slipway- and a lovely bakery! Wine tasting is available at Ashprington near Totnes and Woodlands. a leisure park for all the family is a short drive away near Dartmouth
