The converted Sarazenen tower stands alone above the Mugello Valley on a large country estate (about 560m²) - it was built in 1100. The property is about 2 ha. The Mugello Valley is known as one of the most beautiful valleys in Italy. It is a secret tip, because it is not overfilled with tourists. The house is the summer residence of the sculptor Ralf Kuntze - who restored it 2 years ago and gave it a charming, artistic design. The tower room serves as a studio and can be used. The house is ideal for groups, but you can also have 4 or 8 people. More sleeping accommodations are possible. 3 km away in the city of Vicchio you will find shopping facilities, restaurants and a swimming pool, as well as a train station with a connection to Florence. Swimming possibilities on the beach of the large Lake Bilanciono (15 minutes).

Built as a former watch tower, you will have an amazing view above the Mugello valley. It is a cultural landscape far from the storms of tourists. The Medici built their country villas in this lovely region. Even though it is secluded, the closest city Vicchio can be reached in 5 minutes. Here you will find shopping facilities, restaurants and a swimming pool. In 15 minutes you can swim at one of the beaches belonging to the large Lake Bilancino. Hiking, cycling or taking the train - the central location makes it possible for you to see the attractions in the nearby surroundings as well as to discover Tuscany. A paradise for hikers and nature lovers.

    300 € security deposit will be paid back at the end of the stay. Upon request, bed sheets for 12€ and towels for 4€ per person can be rented.

  • The house has three levels that connect to one another. The interior is designed with a lot of arches in an old country house style and is spacious. There is a cozy dining room with a large fireplace. In the lower area you will also find a large arch room that can be used for eating. From there you can get to the tower room which is ready to be used as a studio for artistic work. This spaciousness gives enough room for large families during rain or if it is cold out. The kitchen and both of the bathrooms are perfectly equipped. For living outside, there is a large patio table, chairs and deck chairs.

The Vivaio Country Estate: Vivaio is located in a former tower secluded on a mountain above the Mugello Valley. Absolute tranquility and an amazing view will relax your soul. During the centuries, the tower has developed into a country house with almost 600m² of surface area. Therefore, the rooms are spacious and ample. There is a lot of space.

The location: A 20,000 m² field with olives belongs to the house. The field has not been worked on for about 50 years, so it is very natural and there are a lot of herbs. There are no fences, which lets you go on long walks. Vivaio is located about 4km from the city of Vicchio - here you will find shopping facilities. At the foot of the house mountain, you will find a small river where you can refresh yourself during the summer.

The environment and care: Due to the convenient location, a lot of regions in middle and North Italy can be easily reached with a train or car. The train station in Vicchio is 5 minutes away. Florence is 29km away.You can have a beautiful ride through Tuscany with a train. About 15 minutes away are two swimming lakes and a swimming pool in Vicchio. The manager of the house speaks German, Italian and English. She likes to help the guests and is available for advice and help.

Wir waren schon zum 3.mal da. Die Stille und Weite der Landschaft ohne direkten Nachbarn war genau das Richtige für unsere gestressten Seelen. Der Ort Vicchio ist 10 min. entfernt, gut zum Einkaufen. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist klar, man merkt das der Vermieter Künstler
ist. Die Farben der Räume sind mit Bedacht gestaltet.
Wir wurden von der Verwalterin fürsorglich betreut.
Die tatsächlichen Möglichkeiten des Hauses und der Gegend kommen im Inserat nicht rüber. Wir können es nur empfehlen.
