Less than an hour from Salzburg, Alpine-Meadows is a large & comfortable holiday apartment with 3 bedrooms in the heart of the Salzkammergut a great all year-round location for anyone who wants to have the perfect lakes and mountains holiday.
Alpine-Meadows apartment is situated on the ground floor of a quaint Alpine house which is full of character. The apartment has many pine clad rooms which add to its charm but has modern facilities including a brand new, well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a large lounge-diner ideal to relax in together after a day enjoying the lakes, mountains or ski slopes.
The three bedrooms comprise:
A pine-clad double room with pine bed, wardrobe, drawers and bedside tables with lamps.
A bunk-bed room with a full-size single divan with a singe loft bed over suitable for adults or children, and a large wardrobe.
A family room comprising two adjoining rooms furnished with a lovely white metal double bedstead, a comfortable queen sized bed-sofa, and pine cupboards and tables with hanging space. There is a curtain to separate the two halves for privacy.
There are also two single bed sofas in the large lounge which is furnished with a comfortable new leather sofa and chairs.
The large family bathroom has a bath with shower over and a hand basin. There is a separate toilet.
The gardens at Alpine-Meadows overlook beautiful alpine meadows where farm animals graze in summer , woodland where wild deer roam and of course the beautiful mountains.
There are three patio areas and a range of tables, chairs and sun loungers where you can relax and enjoy the view. There is also a brick barbeque which you are very welcome to use. The fuel is provided free of charge

Alpine-Meadows is a five minute drive from the centre of the historic spa town Bad Ischl with its stylish shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and is close to the villages of St Gilgen and St Wolfgang on lake Wolfgangsee.Hallstatt world Heritage site with its famous saltmines and church is also closeby.
SKIING/ SNOWBOARDING: Less than five minutes drive from the local ski-lift, and a vast selection of excellent skiing available within a 20 minute drive of the apartment. A free ski bus runs from close by.
If you are first time skiers, we are happy to arrange private lessons for you and accompany you to the slopes on the first morning, help you to arrange ski hire and introduce you to your private ski instructor.
If you are not skiers and just want to enjoy being in the beautiful alpine environment, we can suggest some lovely places to visit and some fun activities that everyone can enjoy.
CYCLING/WALKING/RUNNING: There are some lovely well signposted routes locally, that take you through breathtaking scenery and we will be happy to suggest some walks to you that are just perfect for you whether you are a serious hiker/cyclist or just want a scenic walk which takes in some nice places to stop for refreshments throughout the day.Alpine Meadows is actually on one scenic walking/running route, so you great walking or running is literally on your doorstep!
Autumn is especially popular with walkers, runners and cyclists, the weather can still be warm and sunny and the scenery is spectacular as the mountainsides change from the greens of summer to the vibrant golden tones of Autumn. Guest have told us that they think it rivals better known autumn venues such as New England!
ADVENTand CHRISTMAS MARKETS: A fantastic holiday to really put you in the festive spirit! Advent markets take place every weekend in from mid November until the end of December at all the villages around the Wolfgangsee lake, selling seasonal produce and traditional Austrian gifts. Christmas music played by local bands, chestnuts roasting and warming mugs of Gluhwein all help to make this a magical start to the festive season. Round it all off with a cruise around the candlelit lake to make this a perfect break.Why not book a long weekend to explore the Christmas Markets of Wlofgangsee or Salzburg.
