COME STAY and PLAY in the coziness of our rustic Tennessee mountain log cabin. Formerly Shady Cove now Stevens Teepee is nestled in the foothills of The Great Smokey Mountains. Just minutes away from the Parkway, 6 miles from the entrance to DOLLYWOOD and 3 miles to the golf course. This beautiful cabin has the themes of bears and wilderness, that we all expect when visiting Tennessee. We have chosen 42 in. Led flat screen tv's with Blu Ray DVD for the den. In both bedrooms we have 32 in. Led tv's one with a DVD player. Our kitchen is also newly stocked with all the ammenities to prepare your families meals. Also there is a washer and dryer to help make your stay more comfortable. We hope you decide to say with us and if stay in the future we offer a discount to former guest. We installed a Play Station 3 for you and the children's enjoyment. We have two cabins next to each other if you are needing room for larger groups.

We love the mountains and enjoy the shows.
We are centrally located just minutes away from any activity you might enjoy doing during your stay.
We had a good time in this cabin, we stayed four nights. It was roomy, close drive to the attractions and I love the washer and dryer. We did have an issue with the A/C not turning on, after a long day out coming back to a hotter than hot cabin wasn’t ideal. Luckily the weather the next day was cooler so we opened the windows. Some of the dishes in the cabinet were dirty and the table was sticky, Clorox wipes would have been nice under the sink.
I also want to say that the BBQ shack down the road was amazing! I would definitely recommend that to anyone who drives by.
My husband and I recently stayed at this cabin for a weekend getaway. We have stayed at a few other cabins in the area and this one is the least impressive. When we arrived we realized the cabin overlooks another larger cabin and has little privacy on the front balcony. The directions were simple and on either side of the cabin is some land and to the back of the cabin is lots of forestry. Upon entry there was a sign that said no outside wood was to be used in the fireplace, unfortunately the owners did not let us know in advance nor did they supply us with any acceptable wood, so we were unable to use the fireplace at all. The cabin was filled with late summer dead ladybugs and beetles. Otherwise the cabin was fairly clean, it seemed as though the housekeeper cleaned after each guest vacates but does not follow up if there is gap between the next arrival, leaving potential dust and bugs to acrew. The heat and air worked well, as well as all the appliances and television. It took a day for the wifi to register on our iPads but once it worked it was a fair speed. The last major issue we had was with the shower. My husband, who is 6 feet, said it was the worst shower he has ever had. The faucet had terrible pressure and was also so low that you couldn't get enough water to cover your body. Each time my husband tried to scoot underneath it he said he knocked the nozzle into the cold setting and got surprised with a blast of cold water. Overall we were disappointed with stay but it was also not very expensive and still a fun time being near the the shops and nestled in the mountains.
We just returned from a long weekend at the cabin and it was better than I had hoped. I almost don't want to write a good review because I want this cabin to be our little secret!
I'm was extremely nervous about booking a cabin as I'd never stayed in one. Diane did an excellent job of answering all of my many questions and being patient when Paypal was giving me fits.
The property is just as described and the pictures are very accurate. It was clean and I could tell that the owners took pride in the cabin and worked to maintain it. The furnishings were in very good condition and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice having my children in a separate space for less than what we would pay at a hotel.
My only issue was with the shower head--it was not very strong, so we tended to rush through our showers. The hot tub was a welcome sight after walking up and down the parkway and the PS3 kept the children entertained. I also wish that check in was an hour earlier and check out an hour later. But, what can you do?
We were fairly close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, so getting to various attractions was easy. If you want pizza, make sure you get it on your way up as the prices were steep. I'd recommend going to Food City or Kroger for groceries.
All in all, it was a great trip and we look forward to returning. We would recommend to family and friends.
My family loved this cabin, it was clean , roomy, and very peaceful. The cabin is also close to everything, including Dollywood. We were also excited when we came home and saw turkeys on the front lawn! I totally enjoyed sitting on the front deck and just listening to all the birds. The hot tub was wonderful, and where it is put is private and the bedroom has it's own door to the tub. Myself and my family did not want to leave today.
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. It was just the right size for the two of us. It could have been a little cleaner as the floors looked as if they hadn't been swept in a while and the rugs either. We just swept ourselves. The cabin was very quiet which was nice. I liked that it was close to all the shops and restaurants but yet far enough out that you didn't hear all the noise.
