LA GRANGE

La Grange was charming, beautifuuly furnished to a high standard, well equipped, spotlessly clean and exactly as described. Jennifer and Alistair were very friendly and provided excellent information about the area. Our children loved the pool and the very large garden and they played with children in the other houses in a very safe enviroment.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in July 2012. We were 2 families comprising of 4 adults and 5 children aged 3-7. We really enjoyed our 2 weeks here, the pool area was ample for the size of the gite complex. Although there were other families staying in the other gites, we never felt cramped. The gardens are lovely with lots of plants and butterflies. The owners obviously put a lot of effort into their garden and are to be commended on their efforts - particularly working in the heat! The kitchen had plenty of storage space and was well equipped. The bedrooms were simply furnished and the layout worked well for our 2 families. There were enough fans provided for the warm nights. Although the cottage is between 2 other gites we did not experience any noise issues. Nearby Ligeuil - about 5 mins drive had a few choices of eateries. Loches - about 20 mins is quite a big town with a market and lots of restaurant choices. All in all we had a great holiday, would easily recommend and would return in future. Cathy McElhinney
