We have been vacationing in the area for over 20 years, and previously owned a cottage on nearby Spofford Lake. Our dream was to buy a property with acreage, and enjoy the benefits of country living. We love to entertain here, and have created a warm and welcoming home that we delight in sharing with others. We are happy to advise you on local activities and make recommendations to make your stay a memorable experience.
We love this area of NH for many reasons, starting with easy access from the highway. Southern NH provides visitors with a lifestyle much different than the hustle and bustle of the city, without the inconvenient travel. Nearby Spofford Lake has been rated one of the cleanest in NH, and provides a variety of water sports & beach activites. Proximity to local trails and a 5 minute drive to the largest state park in NH are other benefits of our location.
Half-way between Keene, NH & Brattleboro, VT, we are perfectly situated to enjoy the activities offered by both areas. Local farmer's markets provide an abundance of fresh & unusual produce for family dinners, while ecclectic restaurants in both Keene & Brattleboro offer interesting dining choices for every palate. Antiquing in quaint New England towns, visiting local wineries, breweries, shops, and farmstands provide a contrast to the many excercise-based outdoor activites.
Motorcycle riding, iceskating, ATVing in Pisgah park.
